Beep, beep, beep! My alarms blares at me. Time for school! Yay! No. I do get to see Kaitlin though.... I hop out of bed and walk over to my dresser and pull out some ripped Jean shorts and a t-shirt. I grab my phone and text Kaitlin that I'll be at her house in fifteen minutes. I grab my backpack and run down the steps and slip on my galaxy converse.

"Bye Delilah," I call upstairs. Once again she'll be late. We don't worry, at least she's been getting to school in the middle of first period and not second like she was a couple weeks ago and as long as I can remember. I say bye to my parents and walk out the door. Kaitlin's house is only like five houses down from mine and I get there in under five minutes. I knock on the door and who I think is Kaitlin's little brother opens it.

"Who are you," He asks, but Kaitlin pushes him out of the way.

"Sorry about that Ash," Kaitlin says closing the door. "That was Thomas, my little brother."

"I guessed," I say and laugh. She laughs with me as we walk to school.

The bell rings right when we get to Math. It wouldn't have mattered if we were late though. Mrs. Matthews thinks tardies are stupid. Math goes okay, I don't know if Kaitlin noticed that I scooted my chair as close to hers as I could without it being obvious. And the same with every other class.

Afterschool we're walking home and Kaitlin asks if she could blindfold me. I shrug and she puts the blindfold on me. She guides me around, and up some steps and then stops.

"Can I take off the blindfold now," I ask reaching for it. She swats my hand away.

"Not yet," She says. I hear her take a deep breath.

"What's wrong," I ask.

"Nothing, nothing's it's just," She says from behind me. "It's just-"

"What is-" She cuts me off and kisses me. For a few breathless seconds we stay there, but then she breaks away.

"Ash, will you be my girlfriend," She asks looking into my eyes. I nod and she smiles and pulls me to her again.
