As Renee adjusts more being in her new home, she is upstairs in Bakari's room watching him sleep in his crib after feeding him. Michael walks in the room and sees Renee "Hey baby" He kisses her cheek and kisses Bakari in the crib and sits down next to her.
"So how was work Mike?" "It was good did a couple of promos for the production company and talked to my agent for an upcoming role I'll probably take soon so that means Corey has to put me back in training" "Sounds like a busy day" "It was but I couldn't wait to get home to see you two my queen and my prince"
Renee gives Michael a peck on the lips and heads downstairs to the kitchen to make dinner. Michael follows behind her. Renee sits around the island of the kitchen and looks at Michael. "Wassup baby?" "Well I've been thinking about some things and I wanted your opinion" "Well I know that I've been going through a lot for almost a year now with the divorce and being with you now, we have never been on a date yet"
Michael thought about it and they haven't been on a date yet since they have been together. "You know what how about this.. I'm going to take you out this Saturday night, scratch that, the whole weekend since I have nothing planned sounds good?" "It does where are we going?" "Let's just say dress sexy for me and I got the rest" "Yes Big Mike!" "Ooo.. you know I like it when you call me that too"
Renee gets dinner started while Michael plants a quick kiss and heads back to the couch to watch ESPN. Since moving to California, Renee didn't have to work because Michael told her she really didn't have to, but she wanted to do something instead of being home. Decorating for special occasions was her favorite hobby and Faye's also. When they were kids about 6, they cut pieces of paper all different colors and decorated a wedding table for their Barbie dolls. But for now she'll spend time with Kari until she has plans to start her new business venture.
As Saturday night approaches, Renee gets ready for her date with Michael. As she finalizes her accessories together, she puts the final touches on her makeup.
