Omega sat alone on a couch, staring out the window. Her team was going out to finish some errands, but she didn't want to come. Why? Because earlier in battles she wasn't doing too well and Vintage yelled at her. Sole defended her, but he never apologized and is obviously still angry at her. He still offered for her to come, but she stayed. She sighed, wishing Sole had stayed behind with her.
And of course, her wish was granted. Sole randomly came through the front door.
"Sole? Did you forget something?"
"No, I came back to stay with you," she said, sitting down next to her, "I was worried 'cause you didn't seem like you usually do."
Omega looked at her. "You didn't have to. I'm fine, you know."
"Yeah, right. You always go out with the team, no matter what it is." Omega didn't respond to that.
"You know Vintage didn't mean it, right?"
"...how could he not have meant it?"
"You know he's really short-tempered. You just have to let him calm down and get over it."
Omega sighed. "It still hurts, though."
"It'll take some time to get over. Anyways, wanna go out and do something?" Sole didn't wait for an answer as she ran towards the door excitedly.
"Um—" Sole was already outside. "Sure..." Omega sighed, walking after her.
The two girls went out and did a ton of things together. They got ice cream, went shopping, spectated some battles, and a few other things before going home a couple of hours later.
Vintage and Egg were already home, both watching TV.
"Omega, sorry for yelling at you. I didn't mean it." Vintage immediately apologized once he saw her.
"It's fine." Omega replied. She signaled for Sole to follow her as she walked to her room.
Omega hugged Sole tightly once they were there.
"Thanks, Sole."
