In actuallity, Tina is a soul reaper who hates seeing the sadness in people's eyes as she leads them to the after life. And so she has strayed from her real job in search of finding something that would rather make people smile than cry. Which lead her into proclaiming herself as a Love fairy, however... She's a soul reaper and her denial to do her part has lead her body to get frail, if she doesn't consume the memories of the souls that she harvested then she will die... Her constant slumber is a sign of this and this is something that her seniors are worried about. Especially her familiar Kotarou who would go as far as to tear anyone apart who would approach Tina as she slept.
Despite looking like a child Tina is actually 16 years old (Still not legal Zei don't touch.) Her slow development is due to the fact that she does not consume the memories of the souls she devours. Eventually though, she found a way to continue living in the form of harvesting wayward souls, these souls wonder the living plains aimlessly possibly due to regret and suffering, their memories haunt them to no end and their connections with other people only cause them great pain as they cannot interact with them anymore. Granting solace to these souls has become Tina's main priority taking in their painful memories as her nourishment, she keeps herself alive and has set the wayward soul free from pain, but in turn she herself has felt the sorrow from the memories she consumed which will eventually disappear. She felt more nourishment the more the connections the soul had with others making it better for her to reap those souls with more conenctions.
Upon encountering people stricken with Sadness she will instantly reap their souls and take those memories of pain for herself, however, there is one type of memory that she will never consume, and these are the memories that involves love.
MECHANICS
Kotarou
- Kotarou is Tina's familiar. He looks just like a stuffed animal, and he talks in a rather formal and spiritless way. According to Tina, he's supposed to promote Yuuma's love, but he seems to care little for the troubles of humans. Tina would often treat him rather poorly when she's in a foul mood or when Kotarou incites her anger, though half the time it is because Kotarou's blunt comments irritate her. But even though he gives off a blunt personality, he seems to care deeply for Tina's well being and would often give her advice or lecture her when she does something unreasonable. Kotarou is always there for Tina, he and his powers are exclusively for Tina alone and will not harm her in anyway shape or form.Kotarou in a sense is a tanky beast who can shatter any weaponry be it physical or imaginary without exception. This mighty beast will only act if his master is in danger however and will not hesitate to unleash his powers upon those who would dare to hurt her.
- Kotarou has a few tricks up his sleeves, he can cause your mind to see past memories making you relive those moments of your life. He can also cancel out any magic based attacks with ease as well as grab and devour enemies that get too close.
