"because they gave me the real meaning of the word 'family'. Which is why i willing to gave up my life just for them."

Y/n POV’s : *flashback*

The footsteps started to get so near. It feels like I’ve been chased for quite a time. From what that I knew, the Ordeal should not be passed upon this world without further discussion among all Guardians, and of course, the intention from the seed of the Twilight Orb as well, Lunox. I know that I should have step in earlier about this matter, yet requesting for an audience with the Elders will not be an easy task, especially for those who have been banished from the Spirit World, where my status will not be paid any attention. I quicken up my pace, hoping for the Hell Hounds would lose sight of me, but it is impossible as they have a great sense of smell, and my concealing ability is not a match for their great sense after  my ability was being limited after being banished to this world. The unknown portals also coming out randomly from nowhere, releasing few monsters nearby as well of causing chaos that can be heard clearly through the night. The sounds of explosions everywhere and screams of the innocent people, not to mention, the people who had fallen into prey of the hungry monsters that wished for the destruction of the world. As I run for my own life, the words from the Elders, three days ago, still freshly lingering in my own ears;

“ We, the Elders shall not change our decision. This is all for Lady Lunox. The corruption of the world shall be purified. Humans, Orcs, Demons, Elves, Demi-humans and all other races shall perish in The Fall, regardless how innocent they are about their own fault. This world, has clearly lost its true balance.”

The words from the Elders, which make no sense in my mind as I rejected the decision, not caring of my own standing in this matter. How can they just allow that kind of disaster to fall upon the people in the Land of Dawn? These people should be the Guardian of the people, the caretakers of lives, yet they did not seem to care about his matter at all. This is surely a crazy decision, that was what I thought.

“You can’t just do this. How can the Dryads also agree with this matter? This also involves the lives of the forests creatures. You can’t be this unfair!”
My objection did not ring any sense to their head. I know very well that I have lost my right to be involved in this matter, yet I came here to speak up my own mind. After a long silence, one of the Elders spoke up;

“Child, you don’t even know, how much sins have been committed by those lowly creatures, and how much pain that must be carried by the world itself. This world is no longer the same world that we even know before.”

I was so frustrated with the answers given by the Elders. I would like to knock some sense to their head if I can, but luckily I am not in that position to do so. If I did, it would an act of terrorism for sure. I mean--- a rule is a rule but still, there are some rules which are meant to be broken, if that means to be able to protect those who are innocent, protecting the meaning of the word ‘humanity’. The other Elders started to spoke up as well;

“The light and the dark keep on clashing with each other, soon enough, one will overpower another, and this world shall fall into eternal chaos. Do you wish for that, my child?”

Those replies were meant to make me shut my mouth and just sit there agreeing with their decision. But I do not think that I would sit there calmly like an idiot listening to such orders.

“That’s why we must act fast---”

“I refuse.”

The Elders seemed to be shocked at my answer. Straighten my posture, I look up to them;

“The punishment can’t be passed just like that. You know it very well—The Fall is not a small disaster that can be thrown to the Land of Dawn. The Fall will cause a lot of loss especially the lives of people, which are going to be taken like they are nothing at all. Are you sure this is a sane decision? Are you sure this is all for the glory of the balance? Are you sure you’re doing this for Lady Lunox?”
