RIP

We raced towards the launch pad, but it seems as if we were too late.
"He's already in the rocket ship? We're doomed." Peter groaned in defeat.
"Awe, don't be like that, Petey. We've got this." I tried to reassure him.
"Cmon love birds I got a job to do."
"Shut up, Eddie." Peter scolded. I laughed at his hostility and moved towards the control panel.
"Venom? Cover your ears." I say
The two boys trail behind me, with puzzled looks in their faces.
"Uhm, (y/n), what are you doing?" Eddie asked, still behind, but gaining speed.
"I hear you don't like loud noises?"
"How did you know that?"
"When the ship started to take off you covered your ears, and Venom growled. So I put two and two together." I smiled smugly and raced to the radio interface for the rocket ship.
I turn the dial up to high, and venom freaks out, but we can only hope Riot does the same.
I glance up at the sky. it worked! Riot is separated from Carlton Drake, and he can't take the heat (literally) and dies as soon as he was himself again. Riot dies shortly after, and the ship came crashing down.
"(Y/n), LOOK OUT!" Peter calls, and pulls me aside. The ship crashed where I was standing, and if peter hadn't pulled me away, I would have died.
"Oh my gosh, thanks Peter."
"Don't sweat it. That's my job anyways, helping damsels in distress, right?" He says with a smirk.
"Oh shut up." I say, and playfully punch his arm.
"Oh shit, that black glob is missing." Peter points out.
"Wow, thanks for thinking of me, you dipshit." Eddie says, startling us both.
"Well," I interrupt, trying to release some of the thick tension, "we're glad you're safe."
"Whatever. Let's get you two back to lab, I've had enough of this shit." He says with a straight face, and the same stoic expression as always.
———-TIME SKIP TO LAB————

"Alright, were here. Goodbye you two." Eddie said, lightening his face a little.
"Is that some emotion in your eyes? For us?! I'm honored Mr.Brock, I really am!" I laugh sarcastically
"Oh shut up." He says brining me in for a hug.
"I think I'm gonna miss you, (y/n). I could do without Peter, though." He laughs.
"I'm gonna punch you." Peter retaliates.
"Okay! Well, thank you for the help Eddie, Peter and I should be going now, right?" I say, again trying to relive stress.
"Yep. Don't wanna live in this universe of the glob monster is still here. Goodbye, you bitch." Peter says, middle finger up, and walks straight through the portal that brought us here.
"Sorry about him. He gets a little overprotective.."
"It's fine, (y/n). If anything, I'm sorry for you, you have to share a universe, let alone live with the guy." Eddies says.
I laugh and we get together for one last hug goodbye.
"Take care, Eddie. You too Venom!"
"Goodbye, morsel."
"Awe look, he has a nick name for me." I say. I wave goodbye before stepping in the portal.

"That was crazy." Peter says
"I'm just glad it's over, and you're here with me."
"I'll always be here, sweetheart. You're mine, don't ever forget it." He chuckles
"I wouldn't dream of it."
