A/N: Takes place a little bit about a week or two after having Virgil. I'm still not taking Prompts, I got this one before I made my announcement.

Prompt: OK so Virgil gets sick and pat and Roman are worried sick and Logan is trying to find out what he is sick with. Also every time virg sneezes , some fire blows out?!

Something was wrong, they could all feel it.

Normally in the morning whoever Virgil slept with, they had a rotation, would wake up to Virgil trying to sing to his playlist as he waited for them to wake up. Normally the blessed individual would wake up, any time from 7:30 to 8:30 to the baby dragon's voice, and they'd lay there, and listen to him stumble over the words, and when the song ended they'd 'wake up' and walk Virgil down to breakfast, waking the other two on the was since Virgil would not eat unless everyone was there.

But Virgil wasn't singing, and it was as late as 10:30.

This realization made Roman, who was the chosen, sit up in bed swiftly and look beside him. Virgil's head laid on a white pillow, scales pale and looking a flushed greyish pink rather than their healthy black. The dragon's body was caked in sweat, and his mouth as open where his breaths came out in pants.

Worry smacked Roman upside the head and into action. He pressed his hand to Virgil's forehead and yanked his hand back as quick as he could. The dragon's forehead was burning, despite the fact that Creativity could see Virgil's shivers.

"Chu..." Virgil sneezed, a puff of purple flame startling out of him.

"Virgil, baby, how are you feeling?" Roman asked, hoping to gage the severity of whatever the illness was.

Dull, died dark eyes peeked open, staring at Roman. The side could tell the dragon could most likely only see clouded figures.

"Hur...Ro, Ro hea urt." The dragon whimpered pathetically.

"Your head hurts? Okay I'm going to go get Logan and Patton okay? Stay right here sweetie!" Roman spoke as softly as he could, pulling a blanket over the dragon to tuck him in.

Creativity left the room, walking down to the kitchen as fast as he could. Logan was pacing the kitchen, while Patton was leaning against the stove, a pile of pancakes to the side, covered and waiting. Before he could set foot in the kitchen, Roman was pounced on.

"Where is Virgil?" Logan ordered.

"My dad senses were tingling but we didn't want to over react!" Patton rushed. "Now where is my-ow! Logan don't hit me!-our baby?"

"He has a really bad fever, and he said his head hurt, but I-I don't think it's a human ailment because his scales have changed colors a bit and-and-" Roman stammered, trying to convey his thoughts.

"So this could be a dragon illness?" Patton breathed heavily, dread bubbling in his chest. Morality turned to Logic, pale blue eyes staring at Logan behind their glass cage.

Logan cupped his chin in thought. "The best we can do is go to the imagination, and ask another Dragon Witch. I have been meaning to venture in there regardless in hopes of getting books regarding dragon upbringing, so we might as well do that now. Here is the Plan: Roman and I will go get the information we need, and you, Patton, can stay behind to watch Virgil. Put ice in a ice pack and put it on his forehead to bring down his fever. If he can eat, broth only, and plenty of water, and no medicine as we don't know how it will effect him. If his head hurts shut off the light, it should help the headache subside."

Once Logan quieted down they sprung into action. Patton grabbed a three ice packs and put two in the freezer to set, while also filling a sippy with cold water. Roman put on his shoes and grabbed his sword, followed by Logan as he rushed into the imagination.
