"Okay, now introducing, Hiki's Moon Le Ball outfit!" Magikoopaette's voice held no amusement as she walked away to make room for Hiki.
Hiki smiled as she stood there in a short white dress, with maroon spots on the skirt, and oxford blue gloves with daffodil trim. Hiki spun around to show that the back was nonexistent, her back was free from any fabric.
"How do I look?" Silence. "How do I look?"
The koopas started to panic, random compliments fell from their mouths, "Adorable!"
"Beautiful!"
"No one can compare!"
Hiki let a small giggle escape her lips and blush crept on to her cheeks, someone could mistake her for a child by how she was acting.
The koopas clapped and cheered, "Oh, you're too much!" Hiki couldn't get enough of attention, there was just something about it that made her heart leap, it made her giddy to just think of getting tons of attention.
"Okay, fun time is over." Magikoopaette flicked the lights back on, her head pounding.
"But we still have four days!" Hiki's eyes filled with disappointment, she puffed one cheek out.
"Yeah, four, more like three because that fourth day is the ball!"
Hiki and the rebellion looked down, shame clouding their faces. They had barely been able to plan. The rebellion were busy acting like the other koopas and creatures planning for the ball, Hiki was busy with her dress and "training," and Magikoopaette was busy trying not to lose her mind with the rebellion.
"You want to be prepared, right?" Magikoopaette crossed her arms, and dragged the 'i' out in right. She got no response, her nose scrunched in anger, "RIGHT?"
"Yes!" The rebellion answered swiftly, not wanting to push Magikoopaette's patience any further.
"Well then, here's the plan." Magikoopaette walked to the table, she gave it a light tap with her staff, the table oozed with light. The blue light from the table bent into shapes, shifting into a map of the ball room. "The koopas will hide around the ballroom, under tables, behind pillars, anywhere, where they won't be seen! Hiki is free to dance, but you have to act natural!" Magikoopaette pointed her staff at Hiki, "You got that?"
Hiki bit her lip, acting was not her strong suit. Heat consumed Hiki, she gulped, "Yes!" She straightened up and saluted to Magikoopaette.
"Good." Magikoopaette returned her attention to the map, "Now, when they open the glass ceiling, their magic will combine; however, I will use my magic to intercept it, and use it to make Hiki normal again."
The rebellion crossed their arms, "What about our wish?"
"Right," Magikoopaette smiled, "Bowsette will be weak afterwards, you'll jump out of your hiding places, and attack! Dethroning and killing her." Magikoopaette listened for any complaints, but no one said anything.
"Perfect!" Hiki was beaming, pride overtaking her features.
'The little you know, the better! My plan will change quite a bit, for you at least...'
