A sigh left my lips as I closed my MacBook. I had spent five minutes rereading the email from the one and only Jon Watts. Also known as the director of Homecoming.

Which apparently has a sequel supposed to come out, next July. For Marvel, that's equivalent to, like, 2 weeks (exaggerated).

Spider-man: Far From Home. And I'm probably supposed to be Spider-mans goddamn love interest. He also decided to include a separate section reading:

I'm aware that some of you aren't exactly on speaking terms. But, knowing that all of you are mature, I would hope whatever issue was between the two of you has dissolved. Let's get this show started by having a fresh start (and no, that doesn't mean immediately being all cuddly and warm).

Part of me wanted to slap Watts for writing that, but another part of me thanked him for that. I know I'll probably end up doing this movie no matter what. Honestly, I feel like I'm ready for that.

I've accepted Tom for what he did and I'm willing to put it behind me. Doesn't mean I'll forgive him or become besties with him, but I know I'm able to befriend him.

To get myself out of my bad mood, I went over to the stereo system and blasted Footloose by Kenny Loggins, aka one of the best songs of all time. After belting the lyrics and making up a whole entire dance routine, I continued blasting some throw back songs.

20 minutes of dancing had passed and I was dancing to the song Copacabana when the doorbell rang. I turned it down a few notches and opened the door, only for my heart to basically leap out of my chest.

"SURPRISE!!" A unison of voices screamed.

I saw Zendaya, Jacob, Tony, Tom, and Jake Gyllenhaal standing there.

"Holy shit!" I exclaimed. I was wearing a crop tie dye shirt and nike shorts, and luckily my apartment was rather clean.

"Hey dumbass! Haven't seen you in forever!" Tony ran forward, engulfing me in a hug.

"Hi! What are you guys doing here?!" I asked happily.

"Well, you have the biggest apartment and we wanted the cast of this movie to meet up before filming starts." Zendaya explained, giving me a big hug.

"Nice, nice. I see you pigs brought food." I remarked as they sat down five dishes on my island.

"Yeah, well, we all know how much you love food." Jacob rolled his eyes as fake pouted at him.

"I don't! I've never met her!" Jake spoke up.

"I've heard of you." I turned to him.

"Yeah, I've definitely heard of you. You're Robert Downey Jr.'s daughter for Christ's sake." He said in awe.

"In the flesh." I smirked and he smiled to me.

"Great meeting you." He held out his hand but I pulled him in for a hug.

"And she's cuddly too!" He said in my ear, causing me to laugh. While Zendaya and Jacob took care of getting the food set up and Jake and Tony went and played their own music, loudly, through the speakers, I faced Tom.

"Hey dude." I said simply.

"Hi Bella." He gave me a warm smile, tugging at my heart strings from forever ago.

"You saw the email?" I questioned, grabbing a grape from the counter and placing it in my mouth.

"That I did. What do you think?" He asked, his eyes studying me.

"I'll do the movie for sure. It's just, I don't think we'll get close again. I don't know, it'd be awkward." I explained.

He nodded in understanding but his eyes were clouded with pain, "Yeah, I get it."

"So you excited to be Spider-man again?" I tried lightening the mood.

"Always am, always will be." He went over to the counter and sat on a stool.

"Of course you will." I laughed.

"Alright, we got lasagna, pizza, donuts, chips, way too many grapes, and two things of coke. Digith in, thou bitches!" Zendaya said loudly. We all grabbed a plate of food and headed out onto my balcony.

It was cold, but bearable.

"So, what character are you?" I asked Jake.

"This guy named Mysterio. Don't know much about him." Jake shrugged and talked through a mouth full of pizza.

"Huh." Jacob said.

"Are you supposed to be Spider-man's babe or is that gonna be Daya?" Tony asked.

"I don't know, I'm guessing me since I was shipped with him last movie. Whatever Jon wants." I answered.

"I'm right here, you know." Tom rolled his eyes.

"And?" Zendaya glared at him.

"I swear, the disrespect this group has for me..." Tom mumbled, making me laugh.

"Bella Rae Wilson you did not just say that." Zendaya deadpanned as we all worked on our 3rd or 4th beer.

"I'm not joking," I laughed. "After the first Iron Man movie I really thought Gwyneth was my new mom. I was a dumbass."

"Clearly! I don't know how Robert has put up with you." Tony complained.

"You wanna go?" I teased and stood up.

"Bet." He furrowed his eyebrows and did the same.

"Ooh! Me too!" Tom jumped up and ran at me, picking me up.

My cheeks flushed in embarrassment and I was at a loss of words. He sure as hell does dumb stuff when he's drunk.

"Tom!" I squeaked.

"Oh, sorry love." He put me down.

"Once in love, always in love." Zendaya uttered to Jacob.

"Bitch! You did not just say that and expect me not to hear." I yelled for her.

"Just wait. We'll be seeing who was right." She acted like she was looking at her nails in a petty way.

"Alright, big bet." I said like a high school boy.

"Can we watch Teen Beach Movie?" Jake said, setting down his beer.

We all looked at each other, and once no complaints were heard, I headed to the TV and turned on the first movie of what was to be a Disney throwback marathon.
