(A/N listen to the song while reading if u want to cuz i'm in love with this song and this chapter ok bye love u)
I was patiently playing the piano aimlessly making up my own song in boredom. Weeks had passed so it was 2 weeks until we start filming. My phone pinged and I checked it, seeing a call from Tom.
"Hey!" I answered cheerfully.
"Hey, wanna go out?" He asked, surprising me.
"Well, sure." I smiled, trying to sound chill although I was really freaking out. I was slowly beginning to get yet another crush on him.
Screw him for being so damn irresistible.
"Pick you up in 20, ok?" His confidence was unusual, but I went along with it nevertheless.
"Sure. See you, Tom." I said.
"Bye Belle." He responded before hanging up.
I went into panic, searching desperately for something to wear. Malibu was warm, but also with some chilly wind. So, I picked out an off the shoulder ripped up sweater and some jean shorts. I grabbed some sandals and a belt, finishing it off with some jewelry.

I left my hair down naturally and put on some makeup as fast as I could. I always felt the need to impress Tom, for whatever reason.
My phone chimed and the text from Tom made his arrival known. I grabbed my wristlet and ran to the front door.
"Where you going, Blaze?" My dad peaked out from the pool table.
"Out with friends, be back later." I smiled to him and ran out to Tom's Audi.
"Hey, Bella." He greeted smoothly.
"Hello!" I cheered.
"Someone's happy." He laughed as he drove off. I watched through the corner of my eye at his face as he drove.
"I'm not gonna stay happy if we don't get food, though." I uttered and he chuckled.
"Yeah, but I wanna bring it back." He spoke.
"What does that mean?" I quizzed.
"You'll see." He smirked.
Best Friend by Rex Orange County played in the background and I tapped my foot along when we pulled up to a place that gave me serious deja vu.
It was where Tom and I had first hung out, after we went swimming. The zip line was visible and I remember this was where we had our first kiss on the beach. Most cliche thing I've done in my life.
"Recognize this place?" He asked and looked over to me with hopeful eyes.
