The teenagers looked frightened and were ready to fight the man. Thy didn't know what these words meant, but they were frightened and didn't want to find out. The man's accent, aura, and the overall way he presented himself, was just terrifying. Until someone flicked the lights on.

"Will you stop it already? Your scaring the children, Benjamin!" A female voice said. "Oh come on!" The man protested. "Let me shake them up a little bit will ya? If they' going to be heroes, they need to learn to be unafraid of people who drag them into shady rooms!" Did he really just say that like he wasn't insane?

The lady was wearing a leather jacker. She had short messy brown hair with stunning ocean blue eyes. She had on jeans and a green shirt underneath her jacket. She had on black combat boots. The man, he was something else. He was the same man that each of the teens saw before they were knocked out. He was now wearing a white scientist coat with black jeans on as well as some white, well, yellowish-white, sneakers on.

The teens looked at them and started  shouting at them. "WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH IS?!" Eric questioned, being held back from pouncing on them by Hector. "ANSWER HIM OR I LET GO!!" Hector yelled with a sickening look on his face. "JUST TELL US WHAT YOU WANT!!" Rachel yelled. She sounded the most terrified. "YOU UNCULTURED SWINES!!" Olivia yelled. The others looked at her. "What?" She questioned.

The yelling roared until there was one thing the teens yelled in unison. "OW!" They fell down, holding their necks. There was a collar around each of their necks. And, of course, the man was the one who was holding the button that would cause the pain inflicting necklace to spring into action. "If we shouldn't be scared then why are you hurting us?" Hector asked hesitantly. "Because I can!" The man said, earning a smack to the back of the head delivered by the woman.

"Because these will keep you in line during your training!" She said with a smile. "Training?" Rachel questioned her. "What do you mean training? What are we being trained for?" She wanted to continue on but the shock delivered to her made her keep her mouth shut. The man chuckled with a sick look in his eye. The woman scowled at him and snatched the button out of the man's hands, earning a sigh of relief from the teens.

"I don't believe we have had a formal introduction yet, have we?" The woman said with a smile and a tilt of her head. "Well, allow us to introduce ourselves and explain everything to you guys! You must be so confused!" "Well, if we were screaming questions at you, I'm pretty sure that says that we're confused.." Eric mumbled. He got shocked of course, and kept his mouth shut.

"Well children," She began, "My name is Ms. Marylyn Rose Jenkings, but you kids can call me Ms. Mary!" She said with a comforting smile. "And this.." She pointed to the man, soon being interrupted by him. "I am Doctor Benjamin Scherel Ortiz! But please, call me Dr. Ben!" He said, taking a bow. Ms. Mary scoffed at him and shoved him back a bit. She walked over to a screen with flashing lights

She pushed in a code and the teens tilted their head in confusion. She stepped away from the flashing keypad and the board.. It looked like a normal white board. That's what the teens thought. All of the sudden, big flashing lights appeared all over the screen. Their was a symbol, it looked like something that the government  would use to symbolize themselves, it was a big symbol with a person that was standing with their hands on their hips.

There was  one thing that stood out the most surprisingly. It was the letters "D.G.A.T." It was under the person with their hands on their hips and was in big white bold lettering. "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to D.G.A.T. 'Doing Good All the Time' Community. That's what it stood for. "Is this some sort of Community service project or something, because I don't litter if that's what you think!" Eric put his hands up. Before he could get shocked, Olivia smacked his head.

"No, Eric." She snarled at him. "This is a superhero program! You will all use your powers in attempt to save the world from any extreme danger that happens!!" The room fell silent for a moment. "Well?" Ms. Mary questioned. Olivia and Eric burst out in laughter. That was a joke, right?" Olivia said. " Yea, superheroes don't exist!" Hector said. But Rachel and Eric looked at each other silently.

A sudden twisted smile creeped across Ms. Mary's face. "Eric. HEADS UP!" She said, and suddenly a knife was thrown directly at Eric's chest. Eric flinched away and put his hands up, waiting for the blow. But nothing happened. The others gasped in amazement. When Eric opened his eyes, the knife was burnt to a crisp. And it's ashes were scattered across the floor.

"Eric you have the power of electricity! You can cause anything and anyone to get electrocuted! Also, the ability to to control electronics." Eric looked at his hands and smiled, but still stayed quiet. "That's pretty cool! So i can charge my phone without needing a charger!" He chuckled. Ms. Mary rolled her eyes, Dr. Benjamin narrowed his eyes and somehow shocked Eric againx

"You all have powers," Ms. Mary continued on with her sentence. "Hector, you have the ability to heal anything or anyone as well as fix anything broken! We threw another power at you, too! Anything you fix, it will automatically always be there for you to use! Just think about what you need, fix it if it's broken, and that object is under your control completely!" Hector looked at his hand. There was a minor cut that he placed his hand on. Once he placed one hand on the other hand, the cut was gone. He smiled widely.

"Rachel you have the power of Reanimation on your side! You can bring back anyone who has passed away. You can also give objects that have never had a life, a life of their own! Of course, they would have to end there life when you told them to,  but they will be able to help you!" Rachel looked at the burnt knife. She raised her hand to it, and the knife transformed in front of her eyes. She smiled and the knife suddenly flew into her pocket.

"Olivia, my dear, you have the power of occlusion! It is a very useful yet unusual power! You have the ability to conjure up something that the person you against you can not see, but you and others that you choose can! This is also helpful when you go to pick locks!" She said. Olivia tilted her head. Ms. Mary suddenly hurled a knife at Olivia and Olivia put her hands up. She had a shield in front of her that only her and the others teens could see.

"Very good!" Ms. Mary praised the teens. "Why us?" Hector spurted out. "Why did you choose us to become heroes?" Ms. Mary smiled. "Because we have been watching you! And we know that you and your other friends have exactly what it takes to save the world!" Hector nodded at this and smiled a bit. "Do you and Dr. Ben have powers, Ms. Mary?" Rachel asked.

Ms. Mary nodded. "Where do you think all those  knives came from?" She asked with a chuckle. "I have the power to summon any weapon that I need!" She said. "And I," Dr, Benjamin stood up. "Am able to clone myself and have myself in multiple places at once!" He said. "That explains a lot about earlier.." Eric said to himself. "That is how I got you all here at the same time!!" He said.

"Well," Ms. Mary interrupted him. "Does anyone have anymore questions about hoe you are here, why you are here, training, or anything else?" She sounded polite as she said this, but the teens could tell by the annoyed look on Dr. Benjamin's face that they were not in the mood to be answering anymore questions that they had.

Hector raised his hand. "I only  have one question!" He said. "When can we start training to be the best heroes that we can be?" He said. Determination filled his voice and he had a brave look in his eye. Ms. Mary smiled one wide smile, and all the teens looked at her with curiosity. "Your training may commence now! Just follow me!" She said, walking into a hallway.  The teens stood up and followed her.

All of them could already tell that they were going to be the best heroes that they possibly could be, no matter what it took!
