Chapter 1

Maya's pov

Okay ready to get this day started.
Let's see what curve ball it throws me today.
Hopefully not too bad or maybe it will just be light.
Here we go.

Maya Hunter steps out of her room and immediately faces Raven.
Of course her baby sister is crawling around and is getting used to the place.
It was a new house which they have moved in two months ago and not too bad either.
Much bigger that the apartment and also weird.
Maya actually has empty places in her room and much more than she can ever imagine.
Raven doesn't notice anything but she is a baby.

"Morning Raven," Maya said and picked Raven up.
"There we go. We going down?" Maya asked and gave Raven a kiss on her head.
"Let's go."

"Hi Mom," Maya said and gave Raven to Katy.
"Hey. Hope you're hungry. Your dad prepared a lot of food," Katy said.

The atmosphere was so thick you could cut it with a knive.
Which Maya was considering.
But because of Raven she decided to behave.

"Come on. Not that much," Shawn said.
"I'm not actually hungry," Maya said and grabbed an apple.
"Maya you can't skip breakfast," Katy said and Maya took her bag.
"I'll eat an apple. I have to go," Maya said.
"We have to talk. This thing with Josh..."

Maya didn't allow her mother to go further.
Why would she?

"Is nothing. Just leave it," Maya said and was off.

She went straight to school and got Riley there as well.

"Morning Riles," Maya greeted her best friend.
"How did it go?" Riley asked worried.
"I don't want to talk about it," Maya said and opened her locker.
"Maya..."
"Just leave it," Maya said and took a book out.
"You can't ignore everything. Sometime it will catch up on you," Riley said and Maya lost her temper.
"Leave it. Gosh what is your story?"

"Don't snap at her," Lucas said.
"Hi Baby," Riley said and gave Lucas a kiss.
"I'm gone."

Riley sighted and went after Maya with Lucas.

"Maya just wait."
"No. I have to make a decision and you can't help me," Maya said.
"I have to go. See you guys later," Maya said and was off.

She didn't want to stay there and keep on being judged for good ess knows how long.
She decided to go find some peace before class which was in ten.
