When Joshua Matthews and Maya Hunter see each other for the first time in ages the last thing on their mind was marrying.
Now that is exactly what they're going to do according to their parents.
But it doesn't come without a price.
Four weeks then she's done! Within four weeks Maya is done with school and just two weeks after that she is getting married. She can't be happier. Not a lot of people knew where Maya was staying and she wanted to keep it that way. But she did know that both she and Josh were invited to a Matthews dinner. Which they had to go to.
It was a Sunday afternoon and Josh was playing with Raven. He didn't think it was needed to rush Maya with getting ready. She was very organised and also ready to tell everyone about her parents. But not about where she is living. Maya comes out of her room and goes to Josh.

"Hey. You ready to go?" Maya asked. "Yeah. How are you feeling?" Josh asks as he picks up Raven. "I'm not sure. But I'll be fine," Maya said. "Okay let's go then," Josh said.
At the Matthews
"Riley do you have any idea where Shawn and Maya's mom are?" Topanga asked. "No but Maya is coming so you can ask her," Riley said. "Okay. I'm just worried," Topanga said and heard a knock. "I'll get it," Riley said.
"Didn't know you were bringing your sister," Riley said. "Didn't have a choice. Hi Mrs Matthews," Maya said. "Hey. Wow you look great," Topanga said. "She looks beautiful," Josh said smiling.
"What's going on?" Cory asked. "Time for the truth. My parents disappeared five weeks ago and left Raven in her crib. Ever since I've been staying at Josh's place." "What? That is terrible," Topanga said. "Yeah but Raven has been really good. Sleeping through the night which is a miracle," Maya said. "I'm glad you're doing good," Cory said. "So that's why you guys are living together?" Riley asked and then came Auggie.
"Uncle Josh!" "Mr Auggie," Josh said as Auggie ran to him and he picked him up. "Wow you are getting big," Josh said. "Hello Raven. Hi Aunt Maya," Auggie said and Maya smiled.
Auggie has been calling Maya Aunt Maya which is the cutest thing in the entire world and also nerve recking. Maya knows she will be called Aunt Maya with a lot of cases but being called that pretty often.
"Oh gosh. I only realised now my best friend will be my aunt," Riley said. "Riley where have you been these past four months?" Maya asked. "Somewhere in the middle of nowhere," Riley said and Josh's phone rang. "You'll have to excuse me," Josh said and went outside to take the call.
"Living together with someone you hate?" Cory asked. "We definitely don't hate each other. I'm very lucky to have him in my life," Maya said.
