Chapter 13

*2 days later*

Good thing is my mom is doing fine. Trey and I are going out to try to get back on track. Not necessarily date but just get to a state of friendship. I was getting dressed go on a date with Trey. I know you're thinking are you seriously about to give him another chance. But honestly my feelings for Trey are lingering away. I walked out door after I got done getting ready. I had on black dress with the breast swoop, with black pumps. I had dyed my hair red nad my nails polished gold. Oh did I tell you I got a tattoo? Yep It's birds flying to my heart. I went out of the door to head out to the resturant Trey and I were meeting at.

When I got there I sat at a table and waited for Trey. Until then I would just call Dra.

DREA: Hey girly! I haven't talked to you in a while.

ME: Yea I'm out at Cafe Carlyle waiting on Trey.

DREA: Trey! Are you serious Brook! They told me all about what happened when I went by O'Swanky. How is your mom anyway.

ME: My mom is fine she's doing much better. But Drea I am grown, I understand you want the best for me, but we aren't dating or anything.

DREA: After all the stuff that boy took you through and still taking you through-

ME: Drea ok! I'll call you some onther time I don't really need this right now.

I hung up the phone and just then Trey walked into the resturant and I stood to greet him. "Hey Trey." I said hugging him. "Hey Brook sorry I'm late." He said hugging back. Then I saw the girl I saw with him at the hosptial walk in. No Trey did not bring her, but you know what, I'm gonna keep my classiness and calm. "Hi, I'm very pleased to finally officialy meet you. My name is Gloria." I forced a grin on my face and shook her hand which was held out. I sat back in my seat and gave Trey a small death stare. "So how have you been since your mom has gotten out of the hospital." Trey asked trying to kill the akwardness, but there was no way he could kill the mood in the atmosphere.

"Actually I've been fine, I've been going there to check on her." I said ndding my head. "Hey baby I'll be right back, I have to go to the little girls room. She said pecking him on the lips. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms over my chest and sitting back in the chair. "What the hell is wrong with you Trey!" I was fire hot. "What you mean what's wrong with me? I brought my girl." I laughed to myself. "Trey you must be out of your damn mind? This was suppose to build or friendship. Trey I can't do this anymore! I'm in love with you, and no I can't make you love me, but I guess it was worth a try." I got up and pulled my dress down. Trey stood up and look at me. I could tell he was trying to grasp a hold of words but I didn't really want to hear them. I fought back the tears that were timid to fall with all my might. Just then Gloria came out of the restroom. I went over to Trey and pecked his lips. "It was good knowing you Trey Songz, big fan of your work. Just then Gloria walked over and stared at me " Very nice to meet you Mrs. Future Songz." I pulled her into a hug and smiled. I took my clutch purse and opened it and took out a check. "Dinner on me." I said smiling and smashing the $100 dollar check on the table. "Tell the waitress to keep the $60 tip." smirked and look at Trey.

Trey POV

Brook walked out of the door and I ran after her. "Brook wait up!" I yelled as she continued to walk away. She was in her car about to close the door but just before she slammed it I slid in between the door. "Brook, I didn't know-, She cut me off. "You didn't know what Trey. You didn't know that I would risk it all to be with you? You didn't know how madly I want and need you? We'll if you didn't take the thousands of hints threw at your ass you didn't know a damn thing in my opinion!" She hissed and I could tell I had hurt her, every single stupid thing, every little thing I said cut her deep, and deeper. "Brook just hear me out. I never meant to hurt you, I never meant." I just stopped and shook my head. "In many ways you will always be my friend. Some bridges have been burned and some doors closed, but I will always care, I will always be here in some, small way. You were my best friend and I know I was yours, something like that doesn't just go away, even if the romantic aspect of it is long gone-," She shed a few ears and I got on my knee and grasped her face and kissed her, passinatly. I was in love with her. It took me this long to realize that she had my back regardless of the dumb stuff I did, and said. She was gonna be the one who stuck up for me. She the realest of all them other girls. And it was no denying it.

"I love you Brooklynn Amaro." She truned her head and I could see her cheeks puffed out and she was covering her mouth. I took her chin and turned her head removing her hand from her face. She was smiling from ear to ear. I pecked her lips. "Yea I said I love you Brookylnn Leigh Amaro. It took me a while to find out what I really wanted in life and now I know." She leaned her head back and didn't say a word. "What?" I asked. "What about Gloria?" She said still leaning her head back. "I'll talk to her. But until then you just go home and get some rest. I'll be over tommarow." She shook her head.

Then Gloria came outside. "Trey you still out here with this bitch? She is desperate for you, why don't you understand that?" She said. "Got back inside Gloria!" I raised my voice. "Naw tell that bitch she gone have to fight me for you. He don't want you, you trifling hoe!"

Brooklynn POV

"Bitch." I said to my self. I stepped out the car pushing Trey to the side. "Hoe? Gloria you must don't know I know you? Bitch you use to work at the strip club, Black Diamonds, and your stage name was Diamond. So before you start calling people hoes you needa watch it." She walked over to me and swung but I dodge and she punched me in my arm. "You bitch." I punche her dead in the mouth. That's when Trey broke it up. "Gloria go! We're done, don't call, text, snapchat, Ig, nothing, you the one that broke me and shawty up in the first place." She stormed off. I got in my car and let the window down. "I'll be at home, if not there just call me." I said as Trey pecked my lips. He leaned off the car adn I sped of to my house.

When I got home I went to my room. I wasn't fully over the whole situation it made my stomach turn a little. What was wrong with me? Why did I keep falling for his corny lies. I was in love with this man. The one who hurt me the most, but claims he loves me so much. My phone began to ring.

ME: Hello?

??: Hey Brook.

ME: Oh hey Trey....

TREY: You mind if I come over tonight.

ME: Trey I would perfer you not to. I don't real ike our relationship is in the right place.

TREY: I understand.

ME: Yea....

TREY: Very word I said I meant it.

ME: I guess....

TREY: No I'm serious. I wouldn't just tell you that stuff to pull you in.

ME: Trey lets not do this again tonight. Ok?

TREY: Ok.. I'll call you tommarow.

ME: Ok.

I hung up the phone and rbbed my throbing head. I took some Aleve and difted of to sleep.
