A: Airplanes

Summary: Jungkook is scared of flying and Taehyung comforts him then helps him get over his fear.

Jeongguk has never set foot in an airplane before. He never travelled for several reasons. One, he was far too young, being only sixteen years old, didn't actually help him fulfill his desire of traveling. Second of all, Jeongguk and his family were extremely poor. They didn't have enough money to pay rent so how on earth was he supposed to travel in an airplane of all things if he didn't have a single penny?

In other terms, he never went anywhere. Now, he has a chance with Bangtan boys or more known as BTS. They debuted back in 2013, when Jeongguk was only a fifteen year old boy. Since then, he and his band members have been working their asses off to get recognized. They were barely famous in Korea until they dropped 'Boy in Luv'. The single that basically put them on the map of Kpop industry. Now, they have a concert in Osaka, Japan. Jeongguk couldn't be more thrilled.

They had realized at least one of their dreams and they're finally getting the recognition they deserved. After sleepless nights of training and practicing, almost passing out on the dance floor or in the recording studio, they are finally able to perform in front of a new crowd. In a stadium of one thousand people and they actually sold out! That, alone, is a HUGE step for them.

Everything seemed fine. They got their passports, their flying tickets, no one seemed to forget anything. Everything seemed perfect, planned for and organized.

They forgot one thing.

Jeongguk was terrified of flying.

He heard numerous news about airplanes falling down or crashing. The passengers dying or even drowning in the sea. He once saw a news report about an airplane that exploded in midair. That thought alone scared the shit out of him. He hated being scared. He was Jeon Jeongguk for God's sakes! The golden maknae, the invincible, seemingly fearless youngest member. He also began working out so people would see him as a strong man that wasn't afraid of anything.

And he wasn't.

Well, he was only afraid of airplanes.

But it was understandable right? It was normal for someone who has never been on an airplane to be a little scared, right?

He wished he could tell his hyungs. They would surely help him out, but his reputation amongst them would be lost. On top of that, one of them might tell this story to the fans. Now what would they think?

Yet, he couldn't help himself that every time the plane shook a little bit, he silently whimpered and looked down, eyes shut tightly.

Taehyung was his seat buddy, sitting right next to him, a neck pillow around his neck, a mask that was previously over his face but was now pulled down to his chin and his eyes lazily wandering out of the window. You might think that since he was so close to Jeongguk, how come he didn't notice him flinching or cowering in fear?

Oh he did. He just kept quiet.

The first time it happened, he thought the maknae had fallen asleep and was brutally awakened by the plane moving a little.

The second time, he got suspicious. Was Jeongguk really that scared? The thought made him smile evilly. Not only the young maknae would get his punishment for all the pranks he pulled on all the members, but he can possibly also have Jeongguk clinging to him.

Now that would be heavenly.

The third time Jeongguk flinched, Taehyung felt really bad for wanting this to continue. He stared at the youngest member, the way a broken whimper escaped his lips or the way he bit said lips and shut his eyes tightly. He frowned sadly once he heard Jeongguk whisper a soft 'mom, I love you', still shaken up. Jeongguk actually thought they would die and that scared him a lot. He wanted to see his mother again! He was only sixteen! Dammit!
