Robotic Opponents

~Suieimei's POV~

I stand in front of the gates at Battle Center F, waiting for the gates to open. As I wait I decide to look around at my fellow examinees. Most of them are talking amongst themselves while others stand off by themselves, preferring their own company over others. Suddenly someone bumps into me harshly from behind causing me to lose my footing and fall! I go to catch myself but before I can I feel someone warp their arm around my waist and quickly put me back onto my balance. "Excuse me miss, I apologize" a very monotonous male voice, similar to how I speak, says from behind me. I quickly turn around to face the person (luckily they're within 2 feet of me) only to be greeted by a male with red and white hair along with heterochromia eyes of gray and turquoise that look much like mine. No not the way you're thinking, it's the look in his eyes that is similar to mine. This boy shares the same facial expression of aloofness and coldness that I have but more importantly he carries that same look in his eyes. A look that is cold enough to stop somebody in their tracks, a look that says "I don't care" and "don't bother me".

I can't quiet put my finger on it but this boy seems very familiar to me. Whether it be the look in his eyes or his eye catching appearance. I feel like I've seen it somewhere before. But where? "Miss? Miss are you okay?" The mysteriously familiar male asks me, his tone flat and emotionless as if he really doesn't care about my well being and is just asking out of politeness. "Oh, yes. I am okay" I simply tell him in a tone matching his, snapping out of my slight daze. "Of course, well if you'll excuse me" the duel haired male says and begins to walk off. "A-ah! Wait please!" I call out and before I know it, my hand is already warped gently around the mysterious male's wrist. "Please let go" the duel haired boy tells me as he glares at me with a look all too similar to my father's in his eyes. I feel my body instinctively tense up as I falter in my actions causing my grip on the male's wrist to loosen. Without wasting a second the unknown boy snatches his wrist from my slackened grip. "M-my apologizes, please forgive my impulsiveness" I quickly say and hurriedly bow down to the male before me.

He doesn't say anything and instead looks down at me with a cold but slightly curious gaze. Yet once again I am captivated in a way by his familiar gaze, "I-um.....excuse me for asking but have we met somewhere before?" I ask the unknown male curiously and try my best to ignore his cold gaze. "If we have then I do not recall, apologizes" the mysterious male told me before he turns around and walks out of my sight. "I-I am Suieimei Shinkai! Nice to meet you!" I call out loud enough so he can hear me, slight traces of emotions slipping into my tone. With the help of my tentacles I can tell he's not that far from me. "Hm, Shinkai? I am Shoto Todoroki" I hear the male say just loud enough for me to hear him. 'Shoto.....Todoroki? As in the youngest son of the Todoroki family? As in Enji Todoroki, the number two hero? Hm, I don't think I've encountered him before so why does it feel like I know him. Maybe I'm just thinking too much' I think and shake my head from side to side, clearing my mind of my thoughts. "Now is not the time, I need to focus if I want to decide my own path" I tell myself and I subconsciously think of my father's mocking expression as he ridicule me for being a female and wishing to be a hero.

This only proves to fill me with determination. 'I'll prove him and the entire family wrong, in fact I'll place in the top five within the entrance exam!' I think and it feels as if there was a fire lit inside my soul, fueling me with energy and driving me with determination. "And go!" Present Mic's voice shouts from the speakers placed around the city and not even a second later the gates fly open. 'This is it!' I think and take off running through the gates and into the city, the fire within me helping me go faster as adrenaline pumps through my veins despite me not having blood. Seconds after running into the city I spot my first few robots using my air sensing skill, both robots turn out to be two pointers. 'This is it!' I think and get ready to secrete poison from my hands as I charge up my tentacles with electricity. Some of the abilities my quirk gives me includes producing any and all poisons, acidic included, from any part of my skin or body and generating electricity from my tentacles. I can't really explain it without it being confusing but that's just part of my jellyfish related quirk!
