Ch.4

"I don't wanna go to school, I just wanna break the rules!" Nora sings in the microphone, we bust out laughing

We had gotten up early this morning, nobody ate breakfast together so we just left with a bagel. when we got here we started sweeping the floor and made it shine, the gots set up the tables and the girls put the white cover up with a red silk, in the middle we put a small vase with crystal pebbles white roses and red roses. We set the plates, silverware, and names for each table, we had out our family together, the Holden, Walsh, and Parker were sitting together so we put them across the room from our table. Their was a chocolate fountain with fruits and candies, punch, and dessert, but the caterer are going to be serving our food.

"All done, you girls can leave" Ms.Hooper says

We nod and run out the town hall where it was being hosted. We get in our cars and start heading home, my phone starts ringing and I see its Austin.

"Is it okay we just meet up at the ball?" He says right away

"Yea sure" I say

"Bye"

"Their gonna meet us at the town hall" I say, Avery nods

We finally get home, Avery parks the car and we get out. We walk I and towards our room, I shower and get out. I put on white lacy undergarments and rub lotion over my body, my body is hairless okay. I put on the white floor length dress on, it had long sleeves and it had a V cut on the back which look pretty. I put on the Nude heels and strap them, I put on foundation, face concealer, Toner, blush, mascara, eyeliner, light white eyeshadow, and clear lip gloss. I curl my hair and pin it to the side, I grab my white clutch and walk out the room.

I walk downstairs and see my parents and Avery ready. My father was wearing a black tuxedo with a black bow tie. My mother had put on navy blue dress, and Avery had a strapless black floor length dress and black heels, her is hair curled in a bun.

We walk out the house and get in the sleek black roll Royce phantom. The chaffer stars heading towards the town hall, the ride their was quiet. The sky was night already, their were photographers waiting to get pictures of the guest. The car stops in front, the man opens the door for us. My dad gets out first, then my mother, and then my sister and I. We pose for the picture for the family and finally walk in.

When we walk in the room I hear the dog "Marching On" by One Republic playing, we walk towards our table. We sit down next to the twins and my parents get in a conversation with the twins parents. We look across the room and see the guys staring at us, my eyes lock with Austin's. I smile and he smiles back. He gets up and walks towards me, he stretches his hand and I take it, I get up and we walk towards the center of the room where couples are dancing.

'Say (all I need)' by One Republic starts playing. We move to the beat of the music slow dancing, we smile at each other ignoring the people staring at us. The room had went dead silent, I look and see Avery and Connor coming to the dance floor and link hands, the Nora and William dance, and last Sage and Mason joined. Other young couples joined us on the dance floor.

"Harper, Ive loved you for all this years, I messed with you because I liked you" He says, I look in to his eyes with a smile playing on my lips

"Will you be my girlfriend?" he asks

"Yes, ill be your girlfriend" I say, he smiles and comes in and kisses me on the cheek

"Now how in the hell are we going to explain this to everyone?" Nora says gliding our way with William

"Tell them that we've had love for each other in high school that we actually got to know each other" Avery says

Once the song ended we walk towards our tables, We stare at our soreness with a smile.

"I don't want you around them" he says

"You can't forbid us" I say

"Yes I can, I'm your father and you will obey my rules" He says " that's final of the argument I don't want you seeing them anymore"

"Neither you too girls" Dean says, his the twins father

"No way, how come their parents take it better than you guys?" Sage says, we all turn towards them and see them smiling, we turn back to our parents

"Don't argue with us, you won't be seeing them" They says, we roll our eyes. I grab my phone and text Austin

"To bad I'm already dating Him" I say

"Me too!" the girls says and we get in to a small talk, I know my father is going to do everything it takes to desperate us but he won't

H- I'm not allowed to see you

A- ha my mother was happy but my father was angry

H- you do know their going to try everything to break us

A- never in a million years, I'm here to stay for you and no one else

H- thanks

A- no problem, see you tomorrow at the diner with the guys and girls

I look towards him and nod. I put my phone away and start eating when the caterer start serving the plate of food to the guest. When we finished early we went for the second course, and last dessert. Everyone was dancing and having fun except the girls and I, the guys were seated at their table.

I see my parents going to the dance floor along with the twins parents. I get up and walk towards the doorway where it leads up to the top of the building showing a great view of the town, Austin wraps his arms around my waist and rest his head on my shoulder.

"Meet me here on the ball of the month" he says

"Why?" I ask

"Its going to be something important, I want to be with you forever Harper" He says, I smile and nod

We stay like that for 5 more mins, he lets me go and I start walking down back to the ball. I go and sit down, the girls sit down too with a smile.

The mayor ended the night by making a speech and turning in a medal to Gabriel Rogers. We get up and walk out the place, we get in the car and start heading home. When we get their I'm tired and decided to just fall asleep.
