Ch.3

My eyes flutter open, I get up and walk towards the bathroom. I brush my teeth and splash water over my face, I walk out the bathroom and to my closet.

I put on a black high waist skirt, white tank tucked in the skirt, and black wedges. I curl my hair, I put on lip balm and walk out the room. I walk downstairs and enter the kitchen, I sit down and start eating with the family.

"So girls Corals boys are handsome and I would like for you two to go to the ball with them, their well mannered and have respect for others, not like the Parker boys" My mother says, She hates Austin's mother Morgan I haven't actually met her only seen her at events we go too with her husband Robert

"Umm we actually have someone to go with already" I say, Avery nods

"Oh really! who?" My mother asks

"It's a surprise mother, you can wait until the ball tomorrow" I say with a smile, Avery smiles and nods

"Oh one o your surprises like I haven't gotten enough over the years" She says, I laugh

"This one is a bigger one" Avery says, I nod

"Now we don't wanna be late for the spa do we?" I say before my mother can say anything

We get up and walk out the house, we get in the range rover and start heading towards Malaya Spa, when we get their the woman start attending us, we put on the towels around our body and lay down in the bed. A woman walks in my room and puts oil over my back and massages my body which relaxed me.

After she finished I rest for a few mins and finally get up, I get dressed and walk out the room. I walk out and sit down at a station next to Avery, My mother comes next and she sits next. I get my nails done in a white color, Avery got them in black, and my mother got them in light pink color.

"Oh Olivia how nice to see you here, I though you wouldn't show up" I hear a female voice, I turn and see Morgan Parker with a nice smile, she seems nice and the way she talked to my mother it was like they use to be friends back them

"Nice to see you too Morgan, I though you were gone since I heard you had an abortion" my mom says icily cold, Avery and I stare at each with confused eyes, we turn towards Morgan and see her smile was gone and replaced with hatred

"I'm sor-" I start

"Don't worry Harper, it was nice seeing you to girls and you Olivia" She says and turns to walk to a massaging room

"What the hell mom?" Avery says

"What? I was just saying what I heard" She says without a single fuck

"Wow I hope you like the surprise tomorrow" I say and walk out the room

"Find your own ride home" I hear Avery says

"Avery! Harper!" My mother yells, we keep on walking

We get in the car and Avery starts heading towards a restaurant, she gives the keys to the valet and we walk in. We walk towards the table where the girls were waiting, we sit and order our food.

"What's wrong with you too?" Nora asks

"My mother takes everything too far" I start

"What she do this time, I hope its nothing like what my mother Jillian did" Sage says

"What she do?" I ask

"You know Masons mom and Williams mom well they where at the country club and I guess my mother is against them since she's best friends with Morgan Parker and well she started saying mean remarks it just posses us off and we took a taxi here" Nora says

"Oh my god that's something close to what my mother did" I say " we were at the spa doing our nails and Morgan walks in saying Hi all nice like she didn't want to fight just like a friendly Hi, and our mother decide to say and I quote "Nice to see you Morgan,i though you were gone since I heard you had an abortion" it killed us when we seen her almost cry"

"She didn't have an abortion, she lost the baby before it was even born, it happened 2 months ago, and they had made a small funeral for her Hope Parker " Sage says

"I can't wait till tomorrow" Avery says, we nod

After having lunch we all decide to just go to the park, when we get their we see couples and couples with their babies and kids. We smile at each other when we see the swings free, we run towards them and get on them.

We start swinging, we keep on laughing. I am hear the people laughing at our excitement and some smiling, I can feel someone staring at us. I look around the park but find no one that we know, suddenly I'm flying through the air. I land on a perfect stand, I look ahead of me and see a black roll Royce, the windows where tinted black so I couldn't see who it was.

I turn back and see Avery talking on the phone, she gets off and walks towards me with the girls.

"Dad wants us home" She says, I groan

"Harper and Avery that is no way to talk to your mother in public" Avery says in a manly voice

"Apologize to your mother" I say manly

"We're sorry we screamed at you mom" Sage and Nora say at the same time, we bust out laughing

We walk towards the car and start heading home. Avery parks the car once we get home, we walk in the house. We smell dinner already, we walk towards the dinning room and see my parents already seated. We sit down and the chef serves our plate, I grab my fork and start eating.

"So what happened?" my father asks looking at us all

"We were getting out nails done, the woman had finished us and we were waiting in mom, Morgan walks in and says 'HI' to mom in a nicely manner and mom says " nice to see you, I though you weren't going to be here since I heard you had an abortion" and Morgan faces changed, she was sad and she just walked away when I tried to apologize, Avery and I were embarrassed by our mother behavior in front of people who will be attending the ball tomorrow" I say, my father turns to Avery

"Is this true?"

"Yes father" she says

"Why in the hell would you ever say that!" he yells at my mother

"She tried taking you away from me, she was getting in our relationship, now she wants to be nice and all, no I'm not going to accept that" She yells

"She tried too that was in high school, you got to get over it, she's happy with Robert" He says and walks out the dinning room, my mother does the same

"Wow" Avery says, I nod

We have never seen our parents fight this much, never in a million years and now they take out information that my father and Morgan use to have a relationship.

We get up and just walk upstairs to our room, I go to her earlier to get ready for tomorrow. Since the kids have to go help set up if we want too, and we go every year since its fun, we leave 3 hours earlier to get ready for the ball.
