Ch.5

My eyes flutter open, I walk towards the bathroom and shower. I remove my make up and brush my teeth, I walk towards my room and get dressed.

I put on dark blue shorts, white V-neck, and white Converse. I blow dry my hair and straighten it, I put on lip balm and walk shown stairs. I sit down and start eating, no one is making a single conversation.

Avery and I get up, we walk out the house and get in the car. We start heading towards the diner, she parks the car and we get out. We walk in the diner and sit down in the back with the guys and twins, I order a banana and mango smoothie while the others order differently.

"The ball for the last month is something I can't miss, and my parent want me to go with Kyle" Nora says

"They asked me to go with Kevin" Sage says

"Damn, my parents haven't even went their, I know their planning on breaking us up tho" I say, Avery nods

"Nobody is going to separate us" Austin says pecking my lips

"I see you move on fast" I hear a female voice, we all turn and I see a girl with bleach blonde hair, green eyes, palish skin, and petite body

"Caroline" Austin says "what are you doing here?"

"I came to visit my you" she says

"Well Caroline meet Harper Tristan my girlfriend" Austin says, Caroline checks me making a satisfied smirk at the end

I can tells she's the one who thinks she's hotter than anyone else. I wonder who she is from Austin, were they a couple or did they have a one night stand? since Austin is pretty known as the player.

"Nice to meet you" I say nicely

"Yeah, Austin I need to talk to you, ill wait at your parents house" she says and walks away, I turn towards Austin and see him with expressionless face

I turn towards the guys and see them stare at their food, the girls look confused too. We forget about it and just keep on eating, after several quiet minutes we decide to go home. The ride home was quiet, Avery parks the car and we get out. I run up the stairs and into my room, Avery walks in and sits on my bed. I stare at Avery quietly figuring what she wants, but she keeps on staring at me.

"What do you want creep?" I say, she smirks when we hear a knock on the balcony door

I walk towards it and open it, I see its Austin and Connor. I smile at them and let them in, Connor and Avery sneak towards her room leaving us alone. I lock the door and put loud music, Austin and I just lay in bed not saying anything.

"Who is she?" I ask

"Caroline is one of my old girlfriends" he says, I turn to look at him

"Is she someone you loved deeply?" he doesn't say anything for a bit

"No, she was just a dare"

"Good, than I don't have competition" I say and give him a kiss on the cheek, he smiles

"But she is poor, she comes from a poor family and really can't afford anything, when I met her she was working at Channel, I was with my mom" He says, I don't say nothing

"When I seen her I though she was perfect for the dare, and so I asked on a date and she accepted and so the. We kept doing it for 3 months until she was in love with me, until October 11 she gave herself up to me and the next day I dumped her"

Weeks ago, where barely getting to November, tomorrow is November and than it'll be a month ago.

"I love you" he says looking at me " if you think that'll leave you for someone that was a dare your wrong, your the one I love" he says, a bite smile goes on my face

"I love you too" I say

"Harper!" I hear my dad yell, Austin and I stare at each other with wide eyes

"Stay on the balcony" I say, he nods and walks over with the doors open

I walk towards the door and open it, my father barges in and starts looking around the room, he walks towards the balcony door and then turns towards. OMG HE DIDN'T CATCH HIM!

"Yes?" I ask

"You and Avery won't be leaving the house until the ball of October 31 for the Ball and award ceremony" He says

"No way!" I yell

"I'm your father and you will listen to me, you will not be leaving the house u less I say so!" He yells and walks out the room

I lock the door and run to the balcony door, I see Austin running across the yard, he blows me a kiss and I blow it back. He jumps the gates and I see him in the car with Connor.

I run towards Avery's room and see her laying in bed with a huge smile. I jump in bed with her and stare at her.

"What happen?" I ask

"He said I love you" she says

How come I'm not that happy? it feels like he didn't actually meant it, but he told me that Caroline was just someone from weeks ago.

"Wow" Is all I say

"I'm going down for dinner" I say " are you coming?"

"No" she says, I nod

I walk out her room and walk downstairs, I enter the dinning room and see my parents seating down barely getting ready to eat. I sit down without saying anything, I grab my fork and start eating.

"Harper" my father says, I look towards him

"Yes?"

"I've been thinking"he says " you said you've been looking over the university of Arkansas and want to study Architecture and interior designing, I talked to them and they will allow you to study both since you've been on top of your classes ever since"

"Oh my god! really?" I say, its been my dream to build dream homes and design homes

"Yes" he say

"Wait what's the catch?" I says

"What do you mean?" he says

"Theirs always a catch, you wanted me to take over the business of Tristan Cooperations since Avery is taking over moms small bakery and she's not good to be on top"

"I want you to stop dating Austin, I want you to complete you dreams and I want you focused on it" he says " here's the to airplane ticket"

He hands me the ticket with my passport, the plane leaves November 1st at 1:00 a.m midnight. I look towards him with a confused look.

"They got your own dorm room ready along with the other rich kids who got their own room, everything is ready a and got new clothes, everything you need is already their, the people now are just asking questions who's the lucky one who's taking over the Dorm 31B" he says

"You got till then to think about" he says getting up with the plate and walks away to his office

I stare at the ticket in my hands.

"I will understand if you don't go and stay here with Austin" my mother says, I look over to her and smile

We finish eating and we walk our own ways, I walk to my room and put the ticket under a stack of books. I get ready for bed and lay down. If I take the ticket ill be able to start school on November 2nd just in time for freshman's.
