[20] Suspicious

[Irene POV]

"Are we almost there?" I asked Y/N. This ride seems to be longer than usual.

"Almost, there's a lot of traffic but we'll be there soon" She explained.

"Alright" I sighed.

"So...what are you guys buying today?" She asked, breaking up the silence in the air.

"Ooh I'm buying new mini-skirts!" Yeri shouted.

"I need a new bag" Wend said.

"I just here for the food" Seulgi said.

"Let's see. I need make-up, a new pair of sunglasses, maybe new shoes or-" I cut off Joy.

"I just got dragged into this mess" I said. Y/N giggled a little and so did the others.

"Oh look we're here" Y/N said.

"Ok guys sunglasses and masks on. Try not ot be recognised ok?" I asked there members and they all started nodding their heads. We all got out of the car and entered the mall. We went to the second floor since that was where the members wanted to go. Each member left to go to their shops and I was left alone with Y/N.

"Hey isn't that Red Velvet's bodyguard?" A stranger asked her friend. A crap.

"Yeah but who is she with?" Another asked. They started staring at me and started studying my features.

"Wait isn't that Irene?!" A girl shouted.

"Yeah she looks a lot like her!" Another shouted. I tried to hide my face and Y/N and I started to walk faster. Soon other people noticed.

"Whoah! They are dating!" Another shouted.

[Y/N POV]

Crap, crap, crap. This isn't good. We have been spotted. What's worse is that people think that we're on a date. This is going to turn into a scandal.

"Uh...Come follow me!" I grabbed Irene's hand and started running, trying to find a place to hide.

"Y/N, what are we going to do?" Irene asked.

"We to find the other members and leave this place!" I said as I was running. I saw Wendy walking out of the shop and carrying her shopping bags. I grabbed her hand and tried to find the oter members.

"What's with the big-" I cut her off.

"Look behind you" I said. She turned around and she saw the crowed chasing us.

"What did you do?!" Wendy shouted.

"We'll explain later!" Irene shouted. I saw Joy and Seulgi together, taking selfies. Irene grabbe bothe of them and started running again.

"Where's Yeri?!" I shouted.

"Over there!" Seulgi pointed to the left. Yeri was standing there looking at the display. We stopped and changed direction and headed towards Yeri. She was waving to us playfully and she slowly stopped when she saw the mob chasing after us. She started running to the exit and we followed her. We made it to the parking lot and everyone got in the car very quickly. We drove off and left the mob who seemed to stop chasing us.

"I can't...breathe" Joy said said, panting.

"That was too close" I said and leaned back on my seat.

"Thanks for saving us Y/N" Irene said.

"I-It's nothing. It was a part of my job after all" I said.

"Don't be silly. I'll treat you to lunch as a thank you for saving us" Irene said.

"It's ok really, you don-" She cut me off.

"Of course we have to now go to xxx resturant" Irene said and we drove to the resturant.

[Time skippu]

"What do you mean there's only tables for twos?" I asked the waitress.

"I'm sorry ma'am but we're really busy today so most of the bigger tables are taken" The waitress apologized.

"That's ok, we can deal with it" Irene said. The waitress walked us over to our tables. Irene and I shared the same table which was a bit awkward.

"You think SM will kill me?" I asked her.

"Kill you? After you just saved all of us from that mob? Sure" She said sarcastically and we laughed.

"But because of me there's going to be rumours about us" I said.

"I'm sure that won't be a problem" She said. "By the way, do you remember anything yet?"  She asked.

"No not much but I found out that Jennie was my cousin and kind of remembered the day when I went missing" I said.

"Ah...that's good" She mumbled.

"Sorry did you say anything?" I asked.

"Oh no it's nothing" She said and smiled. 

"Here's your order ma'am" The waitress said and place our food infront of us.

"Thank you" I said and she bowed. "By the way, Irene. I f you don't mind me asking, what was I like in highschool?" I asked her. I mean if we wen to the same school, she'd know me right?

"Well after I what happened to your parents, you started to act coldly to everyone in school. It's like you hated all of us even though we didn't do anything wrong" She explained.

"Damn I sound like a bad person" I said.

"You weren't all bad....ok that's a lie" She said. "Anyway you would only talk to Jennie or me but no one else maybe Sunmi. Although Sunmi was your biggest rival in school" She said and drank some water. Rival? Sunmi and I were rivals?

"Why was she my biggest rival?" I asked her. 

"Well, both of you were the most popular girls in school. Sunmi was one of the seniors at that time, so it was a surprise when a freshmen would challenge her. You both were good at almost everything. The both of you would always try to beat each other at everything, from grades to sports" She explained and started to eat.

"Damn I must have been called by so many names" I said  to myself.

"Yeah, one of your most popular nickname was 'Silent Badass'. Silent because you never talked to anyone even the teachers. Badass is well because you were a badass" She said. It then became quiet as we ate our food. "It's kinda weird that you're living with her now. I still just can't imagine that the two rivals would actually become friends" She suddenly spoke. My eyes windened. 

"How did you know that Sunmi lives with me?" I asked her suspiciously. I felt like the other members stopped what they're doing and looked at me. No one ever knew that I'm living with Sunmi except for the Blackpink members.

"I..Uh...Well..."
