We've arrived at the train station. The place was filled with majestic looking people and fellows with shiny and pretty clothes. The trains were up perfectly, each with its own destination. They all looked shiny and polished very well, not to mention, they also looked new.
"This is amazing, sir!", Lucy said, amazed by the amount of people and trains.
"So, this is where we find the next clue?", Simon asked.
"I'm not quite sure. But I do know that the San Pablo train had something to do with Alexis' death", I said and whispered...," and even the Prime Minister."
"Look! There it is!", Lucy shouted as she pointed at the train.
The train itself isn't as luxurious than expected. It looks similar to the other trains! There's not much else to say, it's green, like other trains. I went to the reception to get us some tickets.
"So, what is luxurious about this?", Simon asked.
"Well, I guess the ticket is wrong.", Lucy said.
"Three tickets, please.", I told the receptionist. I received the tickets, she received the money.
I gave the two tickets to Lucy and Simon.
"Wait, are you serious?", Simon asked,"You're giving this to me for free!?"
"Yes, is that a problem?", I answered.
"Gee, thanks man!", Simon thanked. We headed to the train. As soon as we entered our room, Lucy and Simon were shocked.
The room was gorgeous. It's not much, but it's enough.
"Now this is luxurious!", Simon said. Lucy proceeded to sit on the sofa. A very soft and comfortable sofa, at that.
"This sofa's great!", Lucy said, cheerfully. It was then I realized, we didn't find a box in Alexis' room.
"Hold on, do you guys remember seeing a box on Alexis' room?", I asked the both of them.
"Hmm... Now that I think about it, I didn't see a box in there.", Simon responded.
"So, where did it go?", Lucy asked. I did some puzzle solving, if Alexis was telling the truth about the box, and it wasn't in his room, it must've been stolen.
But thinking of Alexis' death, it wasn't just a burglary, it was a homicide. Think about it, why would the thief have to kill Alexis? Perhaps Alexis caught the thief and they simply must have no one know about them. But that can't be the case, since the door was locked when we came in... This entire thing has got me confused, I must admit. I didn't respond to Lucy's question, I simply stood there, thinking of my next move.
"Well, that is something to think of later,", I said," now we must relax."
Both of them sat on the sofa and started a conversation. I definitely didn't bother to listen to them, all they were talking about were celebrities. I didn't mind them, and started minding my on business. More puzzle solving, the Prime Minister's disappearance couldn't have been an accident. Time-travelling is just one's fantasy, it couldn't be real. Then, what happened to the Prime Minister? Of course, Andrew is making me worry. They both disappeared at the same time, they couldn't have time-travelled. They simply cannot. I can't think about this all the time! I have to relax! Feel the air coming through the window. The view was outstanding! Simply marvelous in every angle! Until I got bored...
I gave out a sigh. A very, deep sigh. It was to express my boredom to Lucy and Simon. They quickly gave action.
"How about we start investigating?", Lucy asked.
"Why? I want to relax a little more.", Simon responded.
"Why did you came along with us then?", Lucy asked angrily.
"Just to check the train.", Simon mockingly said.
"Oh, I thought you came to see where Alexis went before he died.", I said. He gave out a weird look. He seemed disappointed at me. I gave him a smug look.
"Alright, fine, let's go.", Simon softly said, as if he was defeated.
We slowly went to the door and looked outside. There was not a single soul in the hallway, as if we're all alone in the train, I do hope that's the case. We went to the left end of the corridor and opened the door to the next cart. The next cart was a cafeteria, which was quite a shock. They serve grand and delicious-looking food. Lucy was forcing herself to not look, but she really is hungry.
"How about we eat?", I suggested.
Lucy looked at me, smiling with her eyes shining. She nodded and started to choose the table we're going to be. She picked the table near the window, we agreed at her choice. We sat on the table. Well, technically, we didn't sit on the table, but on the chair that's beside the table. Sooner, the waiter gave us the menu. Like I said, the food were grand. I can only afford to buy one of each. Fortunately, Simon brought a lot of money. He's so rich that he has two mansions! Yeah, like I care. He ordered his favorite: T-Bone Steaks. You'd think that him being rich he would order the most expensive food, but no, he ordered a $10 T-Bone Steak. I never bothered to complain, it's his money, after all. While it's still being cooked, I started an interrogation...
"So, Simon, what do you think of what happened to your brother?", I asked.
"W-why do you ask that?", Simon tremblingly asked.
His mood suddenly changed. It was clear that he was nervous, especially since he was stuttering. I had my suspicions that he was involved in Alexis' death at that point. And so, I continued asking...
"No, never mind about that, where were you the morning of Alexis' death?", I asked seriously.
"I was with you, obviously!", he mockingly responded.
That was a trick question, don't worry. I still have a lot up on my sleeve.
"Hmm... Well then, what do you think about Alexis' death?", I asked again. He went silent, he kept pursing his lips and sweated like crazy.
"Um... I think it was an accident," he finally responded. But then again, it's impossible for it to be an accident. The only possible conclusion is that he was murdered.
"Hmm... I see," I said. I stopped interrogating him so he wouldn't notice that I'm suspecting him. After all, he has a motive for killing his own brother, all siblings does. After a little while, the food finally came. It was, like I said and I just want to clarify it, a T-Bone Steak, again, a T-BONE STEAK. Lucy quickly took a chomp on the steak. Her face got messy pretty quickly. But I must admit, she still looks cute while she's eating. Oh, what am I saying? I have to finish eating my food or else they'll leave me here. Like always, Simon finished first, because our food was, I repeat, T-BONE STEAKS. Lucy finished second and I finished last. We then started the investigation on the train and its passengers.
What will we find in our investigation? Is this train really connected to Alexis? If so, how? Is it really possible for Simon to have killed his brother?
Why am I asking you?
