Things have gotten more complicated ever since we arrived at the hotel. Just when we were about to calm down, another problem presents itself. A murder, to be precise. And that grumpy inspector doesn't remember me. He must've forgotten me, with his old age and all. But he said he didn't handle a murder case, ever. I didn't meddle any longer. I went back to our room...

"So, what happened?", Simon asked.

I just noticed they didn't even came along with me. They stayed in the room!

"Never mind that. Why are you here?", I asked.

"Because this is our room, you dork!", Lucy said...?

"No! I meant, why didn't you come with me?", I asked.

Seriously, they should've came with me so I'd have proof against the inspector.

"Nothing, we were just tired," Lucy said, mockingly.

"Hey! You haven't answered my question yet!", Simon exclaimed.

I had no intentions of answering it. I want them to see it for themselves.

"How about you go upstairs?", I suggested. "You'll see what's all the ruckus about..."

They both look at each other, and carefully stood up. They proceeded to the stairs, up until we reached the room, they both were awfully silent. What happened, I wonder?

"Oh, you're here, again?" the grumpy inspector said, as we arrived at the room.

"Yes," I said, "we're here to help with the investigation. As you know, I am a detective, and I am well-known for my ability."

"Hmm, with these two?"

"Well, only my assistant. This man is a lawyer."

"What's he doing here? There's no suspect yet, is there?"

"I'm also quite curious as to his reasons of being here..."

"Hey!" Simon exclaimed. "I'll have you know, I arrive here ahead of the time!"

"Uh huh," the inspector snickered, "Well, unfortunately, we don't need your help here."

"Wait, why?", I ask the grumpy inspector.

"Cause the case is closed! We've got nothing left to investigate here! That's why we're going back to HQ!"

Lucy sneaked a peek in the room where the crime was committed.

"Um," Lucy spoke, "Where's the body? I don't see anything here other than rubbish..."

"Did you somehow take the body, inspector?", Simon asked the grumpy inspector, with his arms crossed.

"Well, erm, no, I don't recall that happening," he said, coughing a bit after his sentence.

He didn't take the body, I have to remember that.

"But, if you didn't then who----", Simon said.

"Oh, would you look at the time! I have to get to the station for the report!", the inspector said, cutting off Simon. "Goodbye, you lot!"

The inspector's running speed is outstanding. He quickly ran all the way from the 5th floor to the lobby in such a quick succession.

"Look at him go!", Lucy said, her eyes glimmering with amazement.

"He didn't take the body?", I said. "If he didn't, who did? Wouldn't a missing body be troublesome for them?"

"Yeah," Simon replied, "and they just let it go like it wasn't important."
