We started our investigation on the train. We went everywhere the train and asked everyone on the train, but found nothing of importance. It seems that if we want to find a clue, we have to wait until the train gets to its destination. That also means that we have to wait 2 more hours! Well, I don't care. We went back to our room...

"No such luck, eh?", Simon asked with a grin.

Simon left us alone while we were investigating. Such a bothersome man, I must admit.

"Unfortunately, yes.", I said, "It seems that we need to get to our destination first."

"How long will it take?", Simon asked.

"Approximately.....2 hours.", I said.

Simon suddenly got quiet. Knowing him, he is an impatient man. This is going to be a long day... Exactly as I thought it would be.

"I can't wait that long, Max!", Simon said.

I gave him another smug look. I just love it when he looks defeated. You'd think he'd go wild and destroy everything, but no, he just gave a defeated look and sighed. Lucy sat on the sofa...

"Well, we have no choice...", Lucy said," If we're going to find who killed your brother, we have to do this!"

"We also have to find the Prime Minister too...", I added.

I almost forgot about that, I must admit. The investigation got my attention even more. Then, a loud screeching noise came up...

"W-what the-!?", Simon said, covering his ears. It certainly almost destroyed my eardrums...then it stopped.

"Greetings, passengers! Those whose destination are set to Grosmarb, please go to the cafeteria," the voice on the speaker said. That " Grossmarb" was our destination. That means we had to go to the cafeteria.

"Hold on, I don't like what's happening here...", Simon said while holding my shoulder.

"I understand, but we must go," I said. He nodded. Together with Lucy and Simon, we went to the cafeteria.

We arrived at the cafeteria, but there was no one there but the three of us.

"Where is everybody?", Lucy asked.

"Perhaps we're the only ones going to Grossmarb.", I answered.

Indeed, that was the only conclusion. But that somehow disturbs me. Sometime later, a man came in.

He's really small, but he looks grumpy. Kind of reminds me of the police on Alexis' apartment, but way weirder.

"So you're the bunch that wants to go to Grossmarb, eh?", asked the man.

"Well, er, yes...", Simon said.

He wasn't nervous when he said that. He looks happy. He must be laughing at the man, he IS small.

"Well then, right this way, please," the man said, leading us to the next cart.

We followed him, obviously. As we were walking through the hall, I find the man very familiar. I know I saw him, I just can't remember when. Maybe it's because of all of my cases that I've forgotten as simple as that. The man stopped, pointed at the door and said...

"Well, here you go! Here's your room!"

We went in the room and saw the exact same thing...

Exactly the same thing, except there's perfume in the air

Exactly the same thing, except there's perfume in the air.

"Please sit down...", the man requested. So we did sit down, like he said.

"Please wait here... I'll be calling one of the guards to instruct you what to do."

And....he left. The place looks nearly identical, not that I haven't mentioned it yet.

"So, what do we do here?", Simon asked. We really didn't expect any other questions from him, that's what he always asks.

"I don't know, I don't care, leave me alone.", I said, mockingly.

He went silent. Just then, the train suddenly stopped.

"What happened?", Lucy asked. And right before I was able to answer, I lost sight...and went unconscious.

After a while, I woke up. I was the first to wake up, so that means I have to wait, but I don't want to wait so instead I did an investigation. I went outside the door, to the hall and to the cafeteria. When I opened the door, it was an entirely different cafeteria! I went back to our room, waking both Simon and Lucy.

"Huh? What is it?", Simon asked, scratching his head.

"We overslept.", I said, "We're in an entirely different train."

Simon was stuck in confusion. He did not have any idea of anything I was saying.

"Let's just get out of this train.", I said. We all went outside the train.

Outside was a long, dark hallway. I didn't care much, but it seemed that Lucy was scared. I didn't care either, instead, I lead them through the hallway. Just when we arrived at the end of the hallway, a loud noise struck and a sudden headache hit us.

I could still see the light, even with a blurry view. As soon as the headache wore off, we ran to the gate. We opened it and...

A cheerful and colorful city welcomed us

A cheerful and colorful city welcomed us. It was very unusual, since I had never seen any city like this. Lucy took some pictures, but when she looked at it, it was different than what we were looking at. The picture was dark and gloomy while the city is colorful and energetic. Simon showed me a newspaper...

"Look here...", Simon pointed at the newspaper's date. We were shocked about the date. "July 13, 3020"!?

"W-what the-!?", Lucy exclaimed, " I know it was still 2019!!" Just then, someone walked by. I ran after him to ask what year it is today, and it wasn't any different... "3020."

What is this city? What mystery does the train hold? Who is that teeny, tiny man? Is this Grossmarb? Have we really...time-travelled?

What does Alexis have to do with this?
