Taehyung's Beginning

*20 years ago*

Baby cries fill the room, while Namjoon and Seokjin bask in awe at the beauty of their first born son.

Their minds begin to race with goals and ambitions for their little alpha. Ready to raise him to properly take over the Lunar pack, they both let out low growls in excitement, forgetting that their newborn is being tended to by the nurse and his surrogate is sleeping peacefully next to them.

The Alpha and Luna of their pack, requested the presence of a clairvoyant wolf as their son's nurse. This was in hopes of foreseeing what future lie ahead for their pup and if any adjustments to their plans needed to be made.

A loud cough interrupts Namjoon and Seokjin's thoughts, that is whenever Hoseok walks into the room.

"HOBI!" Seokjin yells and jumps up in excitement, this is the first time they have seen their dear friend of the Astral pack in many moons.

"What honor do we owe your presence, Hoseok?" Said Namjoon firmly.. suddenly feeling a tense sensation in his body.

*thought transmission from Namjoon to Hoseok*  If you bring bad news, please wait to share it until tomorrow. I'd like to enjoy one day with my mate and our newborn before returning to reality.

Hoseok glances at Namjoon with a radiant smile, one that feels exactly like the warmth that radiates from the sun. This is his way of assuring Namjoon that he is not bearing bad news.

"Actually Joon, I am here because I received a notice in my subconscious from the great divinity that a rare wolf had been born. I was going to ignore the message until I was informed by Luna Asuna that you indeed were birthing your first son.

So I decided to come and see if that rare wolf is indeed the heir of the Lunar pack.."

Seokjin's eyes are filled with tears and excitement... a true blood alpha?... He yanks Hoseok up by his hand and darts him over to the bassinet where their newborn is soundly sleeping.

Hoseok felt the strangest feeling overcome him. It was in this moment that it took everything in him to contain his identity as the great divinity. He wanted nothing more than to congratulate his friends by blessing their child right now with a gift that would surely be worthy of him.

He knew that was not the case though, he did however notice something different about their son upon running his analysis on the health of the pup. ...His DNA splits... Hoseok cannot hold back the gasp that comes out upon realization that his friends have given birth to not only a True Blood but a True Blood Male Omega.. which until this day has been believed to be a myth as no one has seen one. Unable to utter the words out loud, Hoseok decides to transmit a message.

Seokjin and Namjoon feel chills go over their spine and Namjoon nearly faints whenever he receives this thought transmission from Hoseok... *your son is a phenomenal pup, you guys have created a True Blood Male Omega...*

Seokjin drops to his knees to caress his mate who is having a rough time breathing. "Namjoon, what is it.. what is going on?" Feeling his heart rate increase tenfold Seokjin is getting irritated and growls towards Hoseok. He knows they were using thought transmission and he was furious as the information was surely about his son.

Hoseok snaps out of his awe at the sound of his friends warning growl, he looks up at Seokjin with that same radiant smile "you and Alpha Namjoon have some discussions to have over the future of your pup. I am going to excuse myself, I will visit soon!" He says as he darts out the door quicker than Seokjin can register his statement.

The couple decide to walk down to the coffee shop to discuss things privately. Not even a minute after they sat down Namjoon is beaming with happiness while exuding a worried scent that makes his mate very nervous.

For fear of others hearing their conversation he transmits the news to his mate Jinnie, our pup is not a True Blood Alpha... he is a True Blood Male Omega...

Seokjin begins to rub his hands through his hair, not sure if he heard that transmission right. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pang hit his chest... something was wrong... they needed to go back to the hospital NOW.

They both nod and jump out of their seats, disregarding the shreds of clothes now on the floor as they convert into their wolves for speed. Bursting through the hospital door, Namjoon releases a terrifying warning growl in the direction of an unknown being staring at their son.

The being turns around, smirks at the couple and disappears out the window. Before Namjoon can jump out to follow him he hears a loud thump and sees Seokjin falling to the floor... their pup had been taken.

"HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN WITHOUT US SEEING HIM, HE MUST HAVE BEEN GONE BEFORE WE ARRIVED" Namjoon says angrily before letting out a loud and horrifying growl, warning everyone in the area that he was on the hunt.

~Over in the Astral wolf house~

Hoseok bursts through his room, panting heavily. He had never done a transporting spell with someone else in tow, though he has many powers as the great divinity—he  was nervous if passing through the Astral realm would impact the pup, who's life he had just saved, in any way.

It was whenever he heard Namjoon's hunting growl that he realized he forgot to relay a message to his friend warning him of the intruders presence.

Though, Namjoon is unaware of Hoseok's true identity..it would be difficult to explain how he managed to show up and take his son with him so abruptly.

He decides to wait a few days. For two reasons, one was to allow Namjoons wolf to get out all of its rage. Namjoon was a kind soul but his wolf was ruthless. The other reason was to allow himself to grant a gift on this rare child. One that only him and this young pup would know of.

"Young one, you have no idea how many people will want to love you once they know what you are. You cannot allow just anyone to have your love though. You are a once in a lifetime breed. That is why I am granting a gift onto you.

This gift is aroma control. You will be able to control who smells your true scent. Unless you grant them the ability of your own will, they will smell your parents scent. Consider this my protection over you against all of the alphas that will seek to mark you as their own." With that, Hoseok gently lay his hand on the newborns forehead and feels the warmest sensation on his hand. This child is truly remarkable. He says with tear filled eyes. Knowing that he will not be able to stay away from this pup.

~two days later~

Namjoon and Seokjin are sitting in their garden, Seokjin crying and Namjoon comforting his heartbroken mate. Whenever they both catch his scent....Hoseok!

And once again Seokjin drops to his knees whenever he sees that Hoseok is holding their small pup in his arms. Trying his best to stay conscious, Seokjin just begins to cry and cry at the sight of their beautiful baby.

Hoseok knows that no words are necessary, as he has already transmitted the events that occurred into Namjoon's mind. Nodding in agreement, they decide to simply allow Seokjin to enjoy being reunited with his son.

Holding his son for the first time since his birth... "Oh my sweet pup, this is only the beginning of our struggles throughout your bright life aren't they, Taehyung?" Seokjin says while taking a moment to look up at Namjoon, with an expression that seeks approval for the name he just suddenly announced for their son.

Namjoon nods and gives his mate the biggest hug, followed by a gentle kiss on the forehead.

Taehyung, a beautiful name for the most beautiful Omega in all of the land...

At this, Hoseok takes his leave. Happy knowing that he successfully protected the young pup but terrified because he knows this is not the last time Taehyung will run into trouble.

A/N- woo hoo! Both prelude stories are complete.

The next update will time jump to present day and we will meet the two in their current states :)

 This is my first attempt at a wolf AU, so some of the details may not be the most accurate... but that's why it is a fanfic, I can write whatever I want :)

Also why could I literally SEE J-Hope's smile as I typed the line about him radiating like the sun. Ahh I love Hobi!!
