Taehyung hardly slept at all last night. Tossing and turning, unable to shut up all of the thoughts in his mind. Replaying this last week in his head. When he first saw Jungkook on the train, how damn cute he looked trying hard not to look at me. That moment in the lunchroom when Jungkook didn't avoid looking at him—in fact he stared at him, the whole time. Then the train, Taehyung regretted how mean he was to Jungkook when he tried to comfort him but damn—if I was just sexually assaulted why was his instinct to touch me? Taehyung really couldn't handle these thoughts anymore because every time he saw Jungkook in his head he felt this weird bubbly feeling in his stomach. Unsure of why it was there and what it had to do with Jungkook, Taehyung was not going to let this happen. He has managed to survive 20 years of his life without a love interest and that wasn't going to falter now. If Jungkook was his mate, it would be different, but Taehyung doesn't know that Jungkook isn't even old enough to be able to sense his mate. So in his head, he just assumes that he isn't—despite Hoseok's not-so-subtle hint.
Is Jungkook planning on meeting me at the train station? Nope, Tae couldn't let that happen. He was sure that if he spent any more time with Jungkook he wouldn't be able to suppress whatever was trying to come out of his heart. It would hurt way too damn much to grow feelings that can't be reciprocated. It was this moment, that Taehyung hated being a wolf for the first time in his life.

Taehyung really didn't want to have to explain to Yoongi that he is avoiding Jungkook. It's not like Jungkook did anything wrong—other than being ridiculously attractive and oh yeah KISSING MY FUCKING FOREHEAD. Taehyung could feel blush pouring over his cheeks just remembering how soft Jungkook's lips felt on his skin. The way that part of his body felt enflamed and didn't cool down for hours afterwards.

Luckily for Tae, he didn't have any classes with Jungkook, so he didn't have to worry about running into him. The only issue was going to be lunch. Normally Jungkook sits with his jock friends—so Tae just prayed that today would be no different.
