"Very well, I'll be finished soon and then I'll let you see" she perks up at the mention of her little hobby.
"Can we get a hint?" Jess asks hopefully.
"Nope" She says, popping the 'P'.
"Awwww" Jess and I whine in unison.
"Anyway, I best get this cake done. It's not gonna bake itself you know" Jess chuckles.
"Yum. In the meantime, I'm going to do more of my project" Kayla grins excitedly.
"I'll just be here, reading my book" I add as they both exit the room to do their chosen activities.

Y/N POV
It's been a week since Megatron's returns and things have been going as per usual. However, I now agree with the girls, things have become rather boring and repetitive. I'm currently in my room drawing in my sketchbook once again, when Kayla startles me with her excited exclamation.
"I'M FINALLY FINISHED!" She practically screams.
"FINISHED WHAT?!" I holler back.
"MY PROJECT!"
"CAN WE SEE IT NOW?!"
"PIT YEAH!"
"WHY ARE YOU BOTH YELLING?! JUST GO TO THE SAME ROOM!" Jess roars.
"YOU'RE YELLING TOO!" We both counter her.
"ONLY TO GET MY FRAGGING POINT HEARD!"
The area suddenly fills with our thunderous laughter as we all gather outside Kayla's room.
"Okay" Kayla chuckles. "So as you know, I've been working on this for awhile"
"No shit Sherlock, you've been working on this for months" I laugh.
"Well it's finally complete!"
"Yeah, I think we got that" Jess smirks in amusement.
"Shut up and let me speak!"
"Whoa, calm down. Proceed" I giggle.
"Okay. So I realise one of the main reasons we don't help out much is because we have to keep our identities a secret. Well, I have a solution. Girls, I present you with our new battle outfits!" She swings her door open rather dramatically if you ask me.
Inside are three beautiful, yet equally badaft outfits equipped with hoods to hide our faces.
"Whoa~ They're amazing, Kay" I say in awe.
"I know" she grins proudly. "I even colour coded them with our guardians, and added a place to hold our weapons. (Y/N), there's a sheath for your sword. Jess, there's a quiver for your bow and arrows. And there's a place to hold my staff. We all have inside areas for throwing knives and a holster for a gun"
"You really put a lot of work into these" Jess breaths.
"Only the highest quality for my best friends" she smiles. "(Y/N), this is yours"
"Wow, it's beautiful. Thank you so much, Kay" I say as I admire the astonishing garment.
"Jessica, this one belongs to you"
"Thank you, it's gorgeous" she runs her fingers lightly over the material.
"And this beauty, is mine" she grins.
"Can we try them on?" I ask.
"Well duh. Go on, take them" she chuckles.
Jess and I grin and grab our new outfits in glee. We exit Kay's room and run to our own. I close my door and strip the clothes I already had on. I pull on the skin tight base of the suit and then slip on the thigh high boots. I then put on the long hooded coat and twirl around giddily. I leave my room and meet the girls and to put it simply, we look awesome!
"We need code names!" I declare.
"Yes! We can't call each other by our real names in the field" Kayla agrees.
"I'll be Glitch Arrow, cause I'm a techy and I use a bow" Jess decides.
"Then I'll be Shadow Knight, because my weapon of choice is a sword" I grin.
"And I'll be Velocity, because my speed cannot be matched" Kayla smirks.
"They're perfect" I smile.
"Wanna show the Cons?" Kayla smirks.
"Yes!" Jess and I exclaim.

When we get to the control room, Soundwave is at his usual station, Knockout and Breakdown appear to be giving Megatron a report on the mines and the Vehicons are standing at attention as usual. Starscream is nowhere to be seen, probably gone for a flight.
"Hey guys! Check out the wicked outfits Kayla made for us!" I exclaim.
"Looking good, girls. I see what you did with the colours" Knockout smirks.
"Of course, I've got to match my favourite Con" Kayla grins.
"And I have to say, red does suit you" He complements as he scoops her up to place on his shoulder.
"Do you like it, Soundwave?" Jess ask shyly.
The silent Con nods and displays a heart on his visor to convey his opinion. He picks her up and she hugs his visor with a delighted giggle.
"So, what do you think, Megsy" I smirk mischievously.
He looks a little shocked at the nickname, but proceeds to chuckle in amusement. The Cons in the room are frozen in shock, while the girls struggle to hold in their squeals. Of course, Knockout wears a smirk during the whole ordeal.
"It suits you well, (Y/N)" Megatron smiles slightly.
"You flatter me, my Lord" I continue in a teasing tone as he places me on his shoulder.
"OH MY PRIMUS!" Kayla squeals.
"Shut up. And you owe me some K.O drive thru" I chuckle.
"Well technically, you didn't say the exact same thing so-"
"Nope, you're not getting any loop holes! You owe me and that's final" I cut her off before she can even try to get out of it.
"Fine" she whines dejectedly.
I snicker as she flops back on Knockout's shoulder in defeat.
"Knocky, we're going to your fast food place. Let's hope Darby isn't working today" she groans.
