Chapter 17: Gratitude

Sunny's pov:

Tinulungan ako ni Sihun maka iga. Sa pag ka shock talaga hindi ako maka galaw at sa sakit rin siyempre.

"Sihun!" sigaw ng iba nong binuhat ako ni Sihun bago umalis na at nag punta sa clinic.

"OMG. What happened?" tanong ng nurse na nahulaan na ata ang pang yayare.

"Nahulog po siya sa hagdan." sabi ni Sihun and that is the last thing I heard from him.

"Sunny~ Sunny" tawag ng Tita.

"Tita?" tawag ko sa kanya.

"Oww. Sunny. We are going to send you to the hospital, okay? Just sign here." sabi ni Tita at nag bukas ang pintuan ng clinic.

"Sunny!" sigaw ng ate ko na si Jupiter.

"Ano ba ang nang yare sayo?" tanong ni Ate Jupiter na naiinis.

"Hehe. I don't know" sagot ko.

"You don't know? For real?" she asked. "Sorry" I apologized.

"Are you kidding me? You don't know? Liar! You aren't that stupid, are you? or you are" sabi ni Ate Jupiter.

"Jupiter. Marami na nga ang injury ng kapatid mo. Gina ganyan mo pa. Bastos na bata" sabi ni Tita na kinagalit ni Ate Jupiter.

"Sino ka para pag sabihan ako ng bastos? Kung saating dalawa. Ikaw ang bastos. May asawa pa lang ang tatay ko pinatulan mo na! At hindi ka guardian ni Sunny. Bakit ka nandito? Wala kang ni katiting na karapatan sa kanya. You big pile of sh*t. Get out!" sigaw ni Ate Jupiter.

"Jupiter! Wag mo nga--" hindi pa nakaka tapos si Tita sumigaw uli si Ate Jupiter. "Aalis ka or I'll drag you out. You know I can do it b*tch. Don't test me" sabi ni Ate Jupiter.

Tumayo si Tita bago umalis na. "That sh*t always pissing me" sabi ni Ate Jupiter.

"Ate naman. Naawa lang si Tita saakin kaya---" hindi na ako pinatapos ni Ate Jupiter tulad ni Tita.

"Don't start it Sunny. Baka madagdagan ang injury mo" sabi ni Ate Jupiter.

"Ang OA niyo. Kaya ko naman eh. Medz" I told her.

"Shut the f*ck up and lean" sabi ni Ate Jupiter bago ako pina iga at kinuha ang phone niya bago nag social media na naman.

"Ate, have you brought my camera?" I asked her.

"Oh." sabay kuha ng camera ko sa bag niya at sinabi na "Ito" tapos binigay saakin.

"Thanks!" excited naman akong pina andar ito.

Kahit ito yong luma pero di sira sadyang may bago pa lang akong camera which I personally bought kaya ata di niya alam.

Pero okay naman ito. Medyo malaki nga lang ang ibahan nong quality ng video and audio.

"Hey bijjes!" salubong ko nong nag start na ang video.

"Na injured ang nanay niyo. Look" I told to the camera and shown my bandaged ankle and shoulder to elbow.

"Kaya mapo postponed ang ating mga planong vlogs. Sorry~ Hindi ko naman ginusto ito. Nag che cheer lang kami nong may nag ba basketball saamin tas nahulog ako pero di naman masyadong high. Kaya buhay pa. Hahah" sabi ko sa camera.

"Kaya. Sulitin niyo na ang mga buhay at ako naman ay mag papa hinga. Bye! See yah" sabi ko bago pinatay ito.

At nag bukas naman ang pintuan. Sakto ah.

"Ms. Sunny Herley" tawag ng doktor ata.

"Yes, po" sagot ko.

"I had undergo a procedure to you with the permission of your mother---" sabi ng doktor pero na interrupt ito ng Ate Jupiter ko.

"Mother? Our mother has passed away years ago" sabi niya.

"Ow. Really? Then who did sign this papers?" tanong ng doktor.

"Maybe our step mom" I answered before my sister do. Baka ano pa ang masabi nito eh.

"Oh? Then we will have to get another signature from a family member. Is your father here?" tanong niya saakin.

"Wala ho. Pero I am eligible" sagot ni Ate Jupiter bago sumama sa kanila.

This is just a clinic in our school but what do you expect from its multi- millionaire owner.

Bigla naman may pumasok uli at yon ay si Charm, Lioness, Tom, Peter and Sihun.

"Are you okay?" Lioness asked.

"I am pretty.... fine" sagot ko and look at Charm na maluha luha.

"Why are you crying?"I asked and saw Sihun too.

"Hey. You two?" I asked him.

"Noona. I expect you to have amnesia like in the movies" sagot ni Sihun.

"Me too! But. Hindi pala totoo. I have been crying at the classroom because of it. Wah!" sabi naman ni Charm. I just smiled at them.

"It's okay. I am fa---" I stopped when I felt my backbone hurts. "Ouch" I reacted.

"Oh my god. Do we have to call the nurse?" Lioness asked and I instantly shake my head.

"Nah. It's normal reaction. I am okay" I said and smiled.

"You keep on saying that" sabi ni Tom na kanina pa naka titig saakin.

"What do you mean?" I asked him nicely.

"You keep on saying your okay... fine. But it is obviously a lie. You are full of bandage and your saying. You are fine" he said while completely annoyed.

We all just laugh at him.

"Noona, are you really fine?" Sihun asked. I nodded at him.

"Really?" he asked again.

"I am fine compare to other injured patients because I have you guys, who cares about me. I am happy with it kahit like 2 days tayo nag ka kilala. I feel like I am with you since birth" I said.

Sihun went to my side. They all are standing in my left side while he is in the right side now and hugged me.

"They say fairy tales are true" he whispered. "My fingers now are crossed because I am hoping that is true and true love kiss will cure the girl. His princess" he whispered that made me shut up. And what's more made me shut up?

He kissed me. Not just a peck but a long one. Longer, sweeter and special than I expected. Not just an ordinary first kiss. Special first kiss. Medicine.
