~Let the Story Begin~
When, I was finished with my Frosty. Jeremy finally left leaving me with Dexter. I said with a small frown on my face
"I'm sorry, I tried to quit...But, I couldn't! He gave me my paycheck today and a raise!"
He frown at me and said trying not to sound hurt
"It's fine! But, your coming to the game! And we're still going to hang out!"
I said with a small smile "How about I'll try to get myself fired instead that way I can still get a paycheck and payback too?"
He gaved me a side lip smile and said while, playing with his spoon in the empty frosty cup
"That sounds like it will work! But, you don't have to if you don't want to Gwen!"
I shook my head and said with a little grin
"No, it's fine! I think it will be fun! You and Amy is right! I do need to hang out more! But, I would also like to have money in my pocket too!"
He smiled, but, it doesn't seem true...He said while, getting up
"Think it's about time I take you home before you get in more trouble than you are!"
I somewhat forgot about that. I nodded my head and got up too while, grabbing my bags. We thrown away our cups and walked out of the food court to the parking lot outside. I had a weird feeling like I was doing watched the whole time at the mall. I just shrugged it off and got in the car with Dexter.
While, he was driving it was pretty much a quiet ride to my house beside me telling him where to go. When, we finally got there. My dad's car was there. I swelled and leaned back in my sit. I'm nervous around my boss, I'm nervous around teachers and prep people. But, I'm sure and hell scared of my parents! What are they going to do with me? Throw my phone against the wall so many times that it will break or lock me in my room until, I finally give up or worst will they hit me with something? So, mean things running in my head that I can barely hear Dexter repeating my name over and over again! Until, he finally yelled it. I screamed that is how much spacing out I do!
Dexter leanned over and said while, reaching for my shoulders
"Calm down, nothing is going to happen Gwen! Just Trust yourself and them too!"
I tried to believe his word but, it's not working so far so I faked it the best I can. I just nodded my head and he said with a calming smile
"Deep breathes...Breath in and Breath out!!"
What he was saying was working just making me feel like I'm having a baby!I let a chuckle slip pass my lips saying with a small smile
"It sounds like your a doctor when, a women is in labor! Breath in and Breath out!"
He chuckled himself and said with a smile
"Is it working?"
I giggled and nodded my head while, looking in a softly way at him and said gently
"Thank you for helping a Nerd out, Dexter! That was very nice of you!"
He said while, staring at me in a way I couldn't think of
"Your not a nerd and your welcome! You are your own person. That people in our crappy school can't see. Your a gifted student, Gwen! And don't let anyone put you down! Because, your different"
