I had just moved to Sydney with my bestfriend Mikayla and our families. She had this mad obsession with this band named "The Collective", five boys... Trent, Jayden, Will, Julian and Zach. Yeah they were cute, but I never really payed much attention to them.
She got us tickets to the first Xfactor live show, we didn't really know anyone yet so I guess I had to go with her since no body else would... Her favourite in the band was Will, something about him made her stomach warm and feel sparks I guess... She didn't care about anything else in the world unless Will was on her mind.
It was a Monday, the first live show... "here we go.." I said to her as we entered to take our front row seats where you could literally touch the band members. I stood there while she jumped up and down as every act came on... then, "THE COLLECTIVE" she literally rawred into my ear as every other girl did, I guess I wanted to fit in, I joined.
They sang Domino as they came down on those poles. It came to Wills rap and the boys crowded around him. After it was done they seperated into 5 groups to touch the crowd while they sang. Jayden came to me... all the girls touched his hand, once again, I wanted to join so I put my hand out, he grabbed my hand and I stared into his eyes, his eyes were staring me down... big brown eyes, so beautiful... my heart raced 110 miles a second and he froze. The boys looked at him in a weird way. Zach screamed his name and Jayden snapped out of it, took another look at me quickly, then let go.
The night was over, and as the boys were coming out to get back to the hotel a bundle of girls crowded them, I let mikayla join and told her to meet me down the street later on. I walked alone but Jaydens eyes didn't leave my sight, he watched me and cut through all the girls and came running up to me. "you're that girl-" I cut him off "yes I'm the girl you stared at for 15 seconds tonight, thats me" I smiled while he laughed... Gosh his laugh was cute. He looked right into my eyes as if he was about to kiss me, I got nervous and uncomfortable, "I'm Rhiannon." I said and I shook his hand, "I'm Jay-" "I know who you are silly" he laughed again. "well, Rhiannon, I was wondering, would you like to go on a date with me sometime?" he asked. I was stunned and replied "we only just met-" he cut me off "I know I know, but, you seem like the kind of girl that I want to get to know" he winked and giggled "I'll pick you up at 6?" he said, I thought clearly and thought I'd give him a chance "sure" I smiled and agreed. We said good-bye and he ran to the car, Mikayla came running back, stunned she looked at me, I looked at her... "did he?" she asked "yep" I replied.
