"Nicole and Brianna Alston, please come to Mr. Banks' office. Nicole and Brianna Alston: please come to Mr. Banks' office. Thank you." the loud speaker sounded.
"Alright, I guess he's ready for ya." Ms. D said, starting to tidy up her office.
Nicky and I let out a huge sigh.
"His office is right around the corner, the first door to the left." she said.
"Alright, thanks Ms. D." Nicky said, as we headed out the door. She smiled at me and I gave her a fake smile back.
We finally reached Mr. Banks' office, and walking out of it was Tyanna and her two minions. Once they saw us, and how raggedy we looked, they started laughing.
"I don't understand what's so so funny." Nicky said. I pushed her into the office. I wasn't trynna go through getting jumped by two big bitches once more.
"Excuse me?" Tyanna asked, becoming serious and crossing her arms across her chest.
"Nothing." I replied, shoving Nicky into the office before she'd open up her big ass mouth to say something else.We entered Mr.Banks' office and sat in the two chairs stationed in front of his desk.
"This chair mad comfortable. You feel how soft--"
I kicked her leg, signaling her to shut the hell up because it's not the time for this.
"Ow, damn!" she sneered, rolling her eyes.Mr. Banks had his back toward us, typing something on his computer. A few moments later, he turned himself around in his large, spinning chair, facing us.
"It is your first day of school and you girls disappointed me already. I understand that those three girls can be quite intimidating but---"
"Intimidating?! No one intimidated me! They started with us and --" Nicky cut in.
"I don't care who started what! Fighting is never the answer!"
"So you wanted us to just stand there and not defend ourselves? Is that what you do when someone's bothering you? You just stand there like a bitch?"Both mine and Mr. Banks' eyes grew wide.
"Excuse me, young lady! But that is not how you talk to your elders!"
"Fuck my elders! It's not our damn fault that those dirty bitches picked a fight with us! If it weren't for those dumb bitches, we wouldn't be in this shit!"I stood up. "If it weren't for your big ass mouth, we wouldn't be on this shit! You always got some shit to say, Nicky! Always!"
"I'm tryna--"
"I don't give a fuck about what you tryna do! Ya fucking mouth always gotta be the cause of what gets us in trouble! Like, shut the fuck up! Damn!" I stormed out of the principal's office, heated.I'm really sick and tired of Nicky right now. She always gotta make shit worse for us , just by simply running her damn trap. I'm tired of it. Tired.
"Excuse me, young lady! You cannot just walk out the office like that! You leave when I say you can. Come back right now!" I heard Mr.Banks yelling at me as I'm walking away.
I still kept walking. I headed toward the nearest exit and left.
"Fuck this shit!" I shouted.
As I'm charging out of the school building, I bumped into a tall boy. As I looked up to see his face, I immediately blushed. He had beautiful brown skin, and hazel eyes that glistened in the sunlight. He definitely had to be over six feet tall and he had a deep dimple on the right side of his face. His fade looked so cute on him, and he had little curls in his hair too.
"My fault." he said, holding my wrist to make sure I don't fall.
I just nodded my head and proceeded. As I looked back to get another glance of him, I noticed that he was looking back at me as well. I quickly turned back around, embarrassed that he caught me looking at him, and continued to walk. I decided to just go home. I gotta tell Grandma to transfer me into another school. I don't even care if Nicky doesn't go with me, I just know that if I keep going to this school, more and more problems are gonna come.
It was only ten o'clock , and I know Grandma's probably knocked the hell out right now with Jon-Jon. As I'm walking home, a small group of about four boys were standing outside of a corner store, smoking and drinking what looked like Remy. I started to feel real uncomfortable because they kept looking at me while they were talking to each other. I could've just crossed the street, but there was hella traffic. All I had to do was walk pass them. So I did. I looked down at the ground as I passed them, trying not to pay them any mind."Hey, Beautiful." I heard one of them say.
I didn't say anything back.
"I know you heard me." He said as I still ignored him. "Ight, fuck you. Lil bitch." he sneered.
I just shook my head and kept it movin'. I finally reached home and I opened the door to see Grandma and Jon-Jon on the living room couch, watching TV. Grandma's eyes widened as she noticed how early it is I came home from school.
"What happened? There was an emergency? Where's Nicky?" she asked, springing off the couch.
"She's at school." I replied.
"Then why you here?"
"We got in a fight."
"Fight?! With who?"
"These girls."
"Who won?"
"They jumped me. And Nicky was getting beat up."
"Jumped you?! Oh hell no! Nobody jumps my grandbaby!" she said, charging towards the door.
"Chill, Grandma." I said, grabbing her wrist to stop her. "I don't want no more problems, we good."
"But, why'd you leave school?"
"Because Nicky can't keep her mouth shut. She the reason why we got beat up in the first place. Then she started cursing out the principal, making us get into more trouble."
"Cursin' out the principal?! She know better than that! I'm gonna whoop her ass! And yo ass shouldn't be leaving school when you feel like it!"
"Grandma, she---"
"She nothing! Now get ya ass upstairs and stay in ya room for the rest of the day!" she shouted furiously.I ran upstairs and into my room without saying another word. I kinda feel bad because technically, I snitched on Nicky. But, it's whatever, she'll get over it.
