21 year old Son Eunah leads the life of an average University student who takes criminal psychology lessons and is one of the students who's at the top of the class as she's in her final year.
Eunah loves learning about why people think and react...
"Thanks again Eunah for staying back. I'll make sure that your payment is a bit more special if you know what I mean." My manager gives me a wink.
I smile "It's ok like I said I don't mind." Waving Jisu goodbye, I then start my night shift in this now-closed café.
Really Eunah, you don't mind staying overtime cleaning the floors and emptying out the trash when you could be at home lying in bed while watching Netflix on your phone. Ugh, why can't you stick up for yourself and say 'no' to people?
After giving myself a lecture, I continued to sweep the floor with a broom. Plugging my earphones in, I decided to listen to my favourite playlist on full volume. My hips sway to the rhythm as my feet tap to the beat of the songs.

"Come on you heavy ass bin bag" I heave as I drag out the trash like it's a dead body over to to the dumpster. All of a sudden I see something moving.
"Hello?" I spoke with fear.
With my heart in my throat, I slowly make my way to the noise. "Hello? Is anyone there?" The noise gets louder and louder not wanting to die from a jump scare I close my eyes and prepare myself for the worse.
"ᴹᵉᵒʷ" I open my eyes to a helpless sound. A black stray kitten. My heart drops from seeing this poor defenceless creature outside in the cold. "Are you lost, sweetie?" I crouch down holding my hand out letting the kitten know that I don't pose as a threat.
Slowly but surely the kitten grew enough courage to interact with me. Worried that the mother cat won't come back for its child, I took the consideration of taking it inside instead of leaving it outside in the cold. "Don't worry little one, you'll be safe with me."
I scoop up the kitten in my arms and take it back inside. "Animals aren't supposed to be in here but I'll make an exception for you because you're so adorable~," I said in a baby voice.
I let the kitten roam free around the cafe, swerving in and out the legs of chairs and tables, running around in circles trying to catch its tail and walk alongside me as I continued to clean. All of this just made my night more pleasant.

Light rain started to tap against the cafe windows as rumbles of thunder echoes in the far distance. This making the kitten jump in fright it hides behind Eunahs legs.
She giggles picking up the fuzzy kitten "oh don't worry, the storm is far away, there's nothing to be scared abo-" before Eunah could even finish her sentence the lights went out.
"Well isn't that just perfect timing huh" holding the kitten close to her chest she walks towards the light switch.
Flicking the switch up and down, nothing happened. "Is there something wrong with the fuse box?" Eunah then made her way to the kitchen, before going outside she place the kitten in a cardboard box keeping the little one safe.
Walking outside in the now heavy rain, Eunah ran to the fuse box with her phone illuminating in her hand. Coming upon the box her eyes widened, she saw that it had been tampered with, wires cut with sparks flying out like fireworks.
Oh fuck what should I do, should I call someone, the police? no, I'll be wasting their time, how about him, will he be able to help me? oh, might as well I've got nothing to lose.
Dialling his phone number, Eunah waits frantically for him to pick up the phone.
