Chapter 9 : Welcome Back Master

_Eunahs P.O.V_

"Luckily we were able to revive him but we're not sure what caused this to happen so we're gonna keep a close eye on him and run some more tests," said the doctor without looking up from his clipboard.

My mother and I both nod. When the doctor left us, silence fills the air. All of our attention came to our sick loved ones. Looking through the glass I feel so useless. What if someday he does leave our side, just thinking about it makes me sick.

"Mum I'm gonna leave for work now, I'll be coming home late today so don't wait for me, OK?" she doesn't say anything but nods again.

Time flew by as I finally arrived at work. "Hey Eunah where were you? I was trying to call you but you wouldn't answer." Sooyeon asked. The only response I gave to her was a look of depression and just like that she's got a sense of what happened. Sooyeon speed walks to me, stopping in front of me she then embarrasses me with a warm hug.

"Don't worry everything is fine now, they're going to be keeping a close eye on him from now on" I said wiping a tear. Sooyeon nods with worry. She then takes me to the back so I can finally get ready to start work.

Some time had passed since I got my shit together. Cleaning the tables I hear the familiar sound of the bell ringing notifying us that a customer has entered.

I turn around to see who the customer is and it's the same guy from yesterday, the guy who accidentally broke the glass of water. Putting on my professional smile I greeted them after they had settled to a clean table. "Welcome back master's what would you like for today?"

"We'll have two Ice Americana, waffles and a strawberry cake" the man replied with a smile. With that said I bowed respectfully then made my to the kitchen with the order in my hand readying myself to hand it over to Changwook.

With the order done my boss then came speed walking to me "I can't believe I've got mall comity meeting tonight, they've got them all in a month, regular meetings as well idea exchanges and financial advising meetings. I even have to submit my account ledgers and it's such a pain in the ass, anyway, I promise that you'll never have to watch the store all by yourself again if you just keep an eye on it for one more night. Once I'm done I'll run back and even get you a snack. Please Eunah and I'm sorry." Jisu pleads with a pang of guilt.

"Don't worry about it OK, I can handle it" I reassure my manager as I wave my hands.

"Thank you so much. I'll make sure to give you a bonus on your paycheck for tonight as well." Jisu smiles.

Once Jisu was gone, again I heard the bell chime as the door opened. Turning around to greet the customer a true smile appeared across my face to see one so familiar."Mom, what are you doing here with Taeyong?" I asked as I pinched my little brother's chubby cheeks.

"We just wanted to get something sweet to eat and I wanted to know what time you'll be coming home tonight, I have to leave early for work tomorrow and I want you to take care of Taeyong for the day since I know that you don't have classes tomorrow."

"Sure I don't mind looking after him. What do you say Taeyong, shall we have a nice day tomorrow?" in response he gave me a cute smile as he was clapping his hands together with joy. "I take that as a yes. So Mum what would you like to eat?"

"Oh, I'll just have my usual to go," Mum replied.

"OK let me just get you the food, you can pay at the cash register" I point to her objective. With that said mum leaves with a smile to the cash register.

It's weird to think that I was actually hoping to see my teacher here... What are you doing Eunah? Getting yourself riled up for a person you don't even know. Stop fucking around and get your shit together. You can't trust anyone in this brutal world, they only care about three things, themselves, money and getting laid.

Thinking to myself I was oblivious to my surroundings till someone tapped my shoulder. It was Sooyeon.

"Hey can you get table six for me, please? I've got my hands full and the others are busy"

"Yeh no problem" taking my pen and paper from the now cleaned table I start to make my way to the designated table.

"Good evening m-" my eyes grew wide with shock.

Oh no no no, What is Jongsuk doing here? Well, he did say that he would be coming over today but. And who's the hot chick sitting opposite him, he didn't say anything about inviting her over, are they in some kind of relationship. This is so embarrassing.

"Good evening Master, good evening ma'am what would you like today?"

_Jongsuk P.O.V_

After we gave Eunah our orders, awkward silence bloomed between Boyoung and I. "Thanks for letting me tag along and don't worry I'll pay for myself" Boyoung spoke. In response to her, I just nod. "So why did you want to come to a cosplay café? I didn't know you were into that stuff." she then gives me a smirk.

"What, no I'm not into that kind of stuff!! I came here because I heard that the food was good that's all."

"Is that really all? I saw the way you were looking at that waitress who was taking our order, do you know her?"

"Actually yes I do. She's one of my students." I said without making eye contact. In response, Boyoung gave me silence.

"Here's your food, sorry about the wait." Eunah smiles. She then walks away leaving us with our mouth-watering food.

"Jal meok-ke-sseum-ni-da!" Boyoung cheered. Smiling I then repeated after her. "You were right about the food, it's delicious!" Boyoung squealed with delight.

"Well, I'm glad to hear it." I smile in response. As we were both content with our food I started to notice that one of the customers across from my table started to take provocative pictures of Eunah.

What the actual fuck is he doing?! Literally, no one is seeing this happen but me?!

Just as I was about to get out of my seat and beat the shit out of the fucking pervert, him and his friend gets up and leave.

"Jongsuk? What's wrong?" Boyoung looks up from her half-finished plate.

"What? Oh, it's nothing I thought I saw someone I knew, that's all" I lied.

Something doesn't feel right about those two.
