Compatibility (Pt.1)

'Aphmau Lordé ?' The nurse called.

'Yes ?' I answered.

'Doctor Lee is ready to see you now.' She said.

'Thank you .' I got up and went into the room. Doctor Lee was checking some records.

'Doctor Lee ?' I asked. He looked up. He still had that same old smile. He looked slightly older. He had wrinkles under his emerald eyes. His silver hair combed nicely to the side. I could see the decolorisation on the apples of his cheeks.

'Aphmau. Dear.' He put the file down and got up. He was dressed in his signature blue button up shirt , mustard yellow khakis and white doctor coat. 'It's been so long .'

I went over and gave him a hug. 'Yeah it has ' I smiled.

Doctor Lee was my mom's old friend in high school. When my mom was pregnant with me. She knew that I would be a werewolf. So the one person she turned to was Doctor Lee.

'You look so grown up. How's your mother doing ?' He asked.

'She's doing amazing. She works a lot. But she enjoys her work .' I smiled. 'How's your family ?' I asked.

Doctor Lee had two beautiful daughters. Avery and Mila. The last time I saw them Avery was 7 and Mila was 4.

'Good good. Now Avery is 10 and Mila is 7.' He answered.

'How's Tessa ?' I asked. Tessa was his beautiful wife. But from what I've heard , she was sick a while ago.

'Oh she's doing splendid. We managed to remove the cancerous cells a while ago and she's been doing amazing .' He said.

'Good good .' I smiled.

'How are you doing in school now ?' He asked.

'I'm doing good. I've skipped Junior Year So now I'm a Senior. I have a full scholarship to Falcon Claw University and I'm graduating in another two months .' I smiled.

'Oh that's amazing. What are you going to major in ?' He asked.

'Business. And art. Those are the two that I'm most contempt with .' I smiled.

'You'll be a great business woman for sure .' He smiled. 'So you're here for a blood test ?'

'Kinda ish .' I said.

'Aphmau .' He looked at me as if I did something wrong. 'Does your mother know you're here ?' He asked.

'She does. She dropped me here as a matter of fact .' I said.

'Is the question you're going to ask me or the reason why you're here risking your life ?' He asked.

'Maybe. I don't know .' I said. 'But please. Whatever I tell you now. Don't tell her yet .' I said.

'Are you pregnant ?' He asked.

'No no no. It's nothing like that .' I was a bit embarrassed. 'I can barely take care of my pack let alone a kid .'
