"Y-You remember? Calling me that?"

Lucas smiled. "I do. I remember calling you that. I remember that I meant it to be cute and teasing like you always are, but I upset you. I felt bad, but you- You weren't mad at me. You got mad at Riley because she didn't defend you. She didn't tell me not to call you that because she thought you were short too and that's what upset you." He chuckled lightly. "I remember!" He put his arms around her and spun her around. "I remember you! I remember when you jumped on my back to stop me from punching out Billy Ross!" He put her down and she jumped up on his back. He grinned and wrapped his arms around her legs so she wouldn't fall. "I remember telling you to get off my back because I was trying to be mad and it was hard with your hair tickling my neck. I could smell you-" He thought for a moment. "You-You smelled likes roses and Irish spring."

"You remember what I smelled like?"

He blushed lightly and hoped Maya couldn't see since she was on his back.

"Yeah, I, um, I needed you to get off my back because I was wearing sweatpants and you were, um, kinda turning me on." He let out a nervous chuckle. He heard Maya giggle in his ear and smiled brightly at the sound.

"I was what? Omg. I never even thought that." She laughed. "I thought you wanted me to get off because you didn't like me and I was annoying."

"What?! No way. You never annoyed me, Maya. Even when you made fun of me I always thought you were cute. I remember when you first came up to me on the subway. You introduced yourself and said you thought I was cute, but before I could say anything you started rambling then you walked away. I thought you were so strange, cute, but really strange." He laughed. "Then you shoved Riley into my lap and I knew you were just being a good friend. That's who you are, Maya. A good friend." He walked out of the art room with her still on his back.

"Lucas! I have to hide that painting! Go back in there!" She yelled.

He tighten his grip on her legs so she couldn't get down. "Nope. Let's go."

"What? Where are we going?!"

"To tell our best friends the good news! I remember! My memory is back!" He yelled happily as he ran.

Maya held on tightly. "Slow down! You're a cowboy, not a horse!"

Lucas let out a playfully neigh making Maya burst out laughing.

He ran with her on his back all the way to down Topanga's where he remembered his friends always hung out after school. "I remember!"

Riley, Zay, Farkle, and Smackle were sitting around studying while they sipped on their smoothies when Lucas came running through the door.

"What?! What do you remember?!" Zay yelled out happily.

Lucas stopped to catch his breath. "I remember everything." He smiled.

Maya took this moment to jump off his back. He turned to her.

"Maya, helped me remember." He smiled softly. "I remember comingg to New York and seeing her on the subway." He looked at down Riley. "I remember you landing in my lap."

Riley smiled up at him.

"I remember you didn't like my at first because you loved Riley and Maya." He said looking at Farkle. "But then we became friends even though Billy Ross tried to convince you I wasn't you friend and you shouldn't have friends. I remember sticking up for you and I almost punched him, but Maya stopped me. I remember joining the debate team with you and your friends and we met Smackle who used me to make you jealous!" He grinned at her. "She still uses me to make you jealous with her consistant flirting."

Smackle winked at Lucas.

Farkle's jaw dropped. "Smackle!"

Smackle shrugged. "Guilty."

"I remember when Zay came to our school and told everyone that I got held back for fighting. I remember Riley was upset because she didn't think she knew me at all. Maya was into it, though." He grinned at Maya.

"I may have been turned on a little." She admitted with a smile.

Lucas threw his arm around her.

"I remember everything. And I am never going to ride a bull again." He kissed Maya's head. "I promise, babe."

Maya froze. "Babe? You- You know I'm not your girlfriend. You remember now. We're not dating, Lucas."

Lucas just smiled. "Not yet, but I do recall there is a dance coming up. Will a certain blonde beauty wearing a stunning red dress be my date?"

Maya grinned, then she smirked. "That depends. Will a certain Bucky McBoing Boing be bringing a red rose?" She asked making him grin.

He tipped his imaginary hat. "You betcha ma'am." He grinned at her.

"Then you got yourself a date, Ranger Roy." Maya chuckled.
