Chapter 7

Shawn's POV

She looked so perfect, her hair, her dress, her everything, she is so perfect, there's not one single day she is not looking perfect. "Hi Mack...You look beautiful" I said, she blushed and immediately she said "Let's go".

"Come in my lady" I said as I opened the car door for her to go in, "Thanks" she said, I walked behind the car and got in the drivers seat, I started the car and on the way I grabbed her hand and rubbed her knuckles, she seemed nervous but not as much as I was, I'm afraid I'll screw up or something.

When we arrived at the restaurant I told the lady I had a reservation and all that crap you say when you go to the restaurants. We sat at the table, ordered our drinks and started talking, "So, how are you feeling?" I asked, "I'm good, really good, my friend from Minnesota came today and she's staying with me so let's say that's petty good", she replied while taking a sip of her water, "Well I'm glad you are happy" I said smiling, "Sorry if this makes you uncomfortable but has Hayes said anything to you?" I asked, "No, but today Lacey and I were at the mall and he was there, so he came and said hi, nothing interesting actually", "Ohhh" that's all I could say, after all he has done to her, he thinks she is going to forget him that easily, he has no shame, "Excuse me sir, what would you like to eat?" the waitress interrupted my thoughts, "Um, I'll have the um, Caesar Salad" I said not even thinking of what I was saying, I think I don't even like Caesar Salad but whatever, maybe I'll like it, who knows. "Shawn?" Mack asked, "Yeah" I replied, "Thanks, thanks for everything, for being there for me when no one was, you have no idea of how thank full I am, you are the one who saved my life, I'm so..." she said running her hands through her hair, I cut her off saying "Hey, hey, your welcome, just keep in mind that I will always be here for you, no matter what, okay?" I said holding her hand from across the table, "Okay, but why are you doing this?", she asked, "Because I care about you, I don't hate you, no one hates you, everyone it's just jealous of how awesome and beautiful you are", I said and I meant every word, she blushed and looked down, she is so cute.

"Where are you taking me?" She asked, "Ahh you'll see" I said as I intertwined my fingers with hers, I was taking her to a park were I would give her something really especial, when we arrived at the park I covered her eyes so it could be a surprise.

Mack's POV

Shawn covered my eyes, I had no idea where he was taking me.

"Shawn, this is beautiful!" I said as I hugged him, it was a little park with a big tree that had Christmas lights, even though it wasn't Christmas it looked beautiful, under the tree there was a bench in front of the tree and the bench there was a blanket in the grass and a guitar resting on top of the blanket, he led me to the blanket and grabbed his guitar and started singing "All of the Stars" my favorite song, I can't believe he did this for me. (Start playing the song, the cover by Shawn, only if you want to)

And I'm staring at the moon

I had tears tears in my eyes by the time he was done with the song, "Hey, hey what's wrong?" Shawn asked, "Nothing, it's just that, I love that song and you singing it, it's perfect", "Come here" he said as he hugged me.

----------------At the house----------------

"Thank you Shawn, I had a great time" I said as I was entering my house, "It was my pleasure" he said, everything he says makes my heart melt. "See you tomorrow?" "Definitely" he said back. 

"MACK!!! YOU'RE BACK!!", Lexie yelled running towards me, "No shit Sherlock" I said, "I don't have time for those tyoe of jokes, tell me where did he take you?" Lexie asked, after I explained everything and then went to bed thinking about the one and only, Shawn Mendes.
