Chapter 8

Mack's POV

"SHUT THE FUCK UP LACEY" I yelled at her, she was screaming in my ear. "WAKE UPPPPPPP!!!! She yelled. "I SWEAR IF YOU SCREAM ONE MORE TIME I'M GOING TO CHOP YOUR HEAD OFF!! I yelled back. "Alright, alright. I'm sorry" she said putting her hands in the air defending herself. "So what do you want to do today?" she asked me. "Uh I don't know. I was actually thinking of staying home all day with netflix and pizza haha, besides we go to the Griers today , remember my mother is leaving tomorrow. "Oh that's true. but wait, Hayes is gonna be there" she said "Yeah, but so does Nash, his brother" I was thinking about what Shawn said to me, Nash is gonna be there, so Hayes can't really harm me. Let's see how this goes. I'm surprised that Elizabeth (Nash's mom) will let two girls in her house, and after so long of not seeing each other. "I'm going to take a shower" Lacey said walking towards my bathroom. "Okayyy, the towels are in the cabinet next to the toilet" I said. "Thaaaaanks" She yelled back.

Buzz

"A text from Shawn" I said to myself smiling.

Shawn: Good morning beautiful. I was hoping we could do something today :)

Mackenzie: Uhh sure. Let me tell Lacey and I'll get back to you.

Shawn: Perfect!!

Mackenzie: Today I 'move' with the Griers...

Shawn: I know... I know... Everything's going to be fine. Trust me. I spoke to Nash the other day. He said he's not going on tour till later with me... So he's staying at home. And we're almost in summer so no school nor bitches. Only us and Lacey haha.

Mackenzie: Haha can't wait. With you...?

Shawn: Yeah... About that, do you want to come with me? Cameron, Nash and more friends of mine are coming. We're doing this tour but with all of them around the states and internationally too.

Mackenzie: That's awesome!! I'm so happy for you!! But I don't know if I can go. My mom, the money.. All..

Shawn: Don't worry about that. My mom talked to yours and my manager is going to take care of the money. Soo there's nothing to worry about. Oh, and tell Lacey she's invited :)

Mackenzie: I didn't know our moms talked and you had everything figured out, haha.

Shawn: Yeah. So do you want to come? Please.

Mackenzie: Of course. Wait when do we leave?

Shawn: In two weeks, we are starting in Cali. I'm so happy you said yes :)

Mackenzie: Awwww, I'm happy I'm coming with you.

Shawn: I'll text you later okay? My manager is calling. See you beautiful!

I smiled at the thought of him calling me beautiful. "Ohhhh who were you texting? Let me guess, Shawn" Lacey said coming out of then bathroom with a towel in her hands drying her hair. "Shawn said if we wanted to do something today" "Tell him I'm down for it". "Perfect" I grabbed my phone and texted Shawn again.

Mackenzie: Hii, It's me again haha. Lacey said she's down for it. When? and Where?.

"Now we wait for an answer" I said to her.

"Mack... I remember back in Minnesota you told me you had this friend here and it was Hayes... Right? What happened?" Lacey said looking at me.

"Oh well.. About that... Hayes and I were.. were really good friends, until he ditched me without even telling me why. I mean one night he just told me all of this stuff and now he bullies me. The worse part of it is that he goes around saying I revealed some secret of his and that's not true. I think it's because he just wants his popularity to grow and his reputation not to be ruined by going around with some loser like me" I answered.

"Whoa whoa you're not a loser, what about the other girls you told me?" she asked.

"Oh them. Apparently they only wanted me for Hayes 'cause you know he's friends with Cameron and all of them. Aaaaand he's Nash Mr. Bigger than Bieber brother. " I said sort of laughing.

"CAMERON FUCKING DALLAS?!!??!?!?!?" She yelled.

"Haven't you heard about them?" I asked.

"YES I HAVE BUT IT JUST HIT ME WHAT THE FRICK DUUUDE. OMG" She yelled again

"I NEED TO MEET THEM!!! MACKENZIE PLEASEEEE"

"Ah about that. We're going on tour with them" I casually said.

"OH MY FUCKING GOD" She yelled.

"Yeahhh"

"IM SO EXCITED THANK YOU THANK YOU"

"Hahah. Actually Shawn's the one you should be thanking" I said.

"Wait what?" She asked confused.

"Yeah, Shawn. He's paying for everything , well his manager. And we already have our mother's permission"

"That's so awesome"

"Yeah, I know" I said laughing.

"Anyways, I'm going to take a shower before Shawn comes by the way, he texted me we are going to the beach so get your swimsuit and bag ready" I said grabbing my clothes and heading to the bathroom.

--------------Later that day--------------

I come of the bathroom in only my shirt and undies because I forgot my pants out, and there he was. Shawn Mendes sitting in my bed on his phone.

"HOLY SHIT SHAWN" I yelled looking at him

"Uhh sorry I... Lacey told me to wait here" He said awkwardly standing and.

"Uh um it's okay, just don't turn around yet. Where is she?" I asked.

"She's downstairs, I think or went to get something to the mall. I don't know"

"Oh okay. You can look now" I said giggling.

He turns around and 'examines my body'. I'm wearing shorts and a crop top since we're going to the beach. The bad thing is that you can see the scars in my thighs and in my arms. Oh well. Let's put makeup on them.

"You look beautiful" he said coming closer to me.

"I.. uh thanks" I said looking down blushing touching the scars in my arm.

Shawn grabbed my hand and I looked at him.

"You are still beautiful with them" He said.

I didn't answer I just looked down again. He lifted my chin up and his lips were so close to mine. When he was about to press his soft lips on mine....

"Hey guys I'm.. Ohh sorry to interrupt. I'll go downstairs" She said.

"No. Uh it's fine. We were doing nothing" I said with my voice a bit shaky looking at Shawn which had hurt in his eyes? Hurt? Wait what?

"Yeah nothing" He said scratching the back of his neck.

"Oh well okay let's go to the beach then" Lacey awkwardly said.

"Yeah... Let's go..." I said.

I froze when Shawn tried to kiss me. I'm not ready for it. I'm not ready for kissing him. Heck. I'm not even ready to let him in, to trust him... What was I thinking. He's gonna leave me like everybody else. I'm not ready for this...

I slowly walk downstairs when I see someone standing there. The last person I want to see right now.

Chapter 8. I'm sorry for not updating in like 4 months. I was busy and going through a lot of shit, which I guess you could say I'm doing better.
