After many stories and laughs, we decide to get to sleep. I take my pills and put my prosthetic in a glass of water nexts to Sally's.

I look over at Sal to see him without his mask, smiling over at me. I laugh a bit. "What's up?" He shrugs. "Looking at the love of my life." I giggle again and walk over to him.

I sling my arms around his neck, he puts his hands resting on my waist. I kiss him slowly before tracing a finger across one of the slashes on his face. He frowns a bit.

"I love your scars." I state matter-of-factly. He smiles mischievously, then throws his body to the pillows making our bed, dragging me with him. I laugh along with him, a tangle of limbs on the floor.

"Can you guys bang at home when we can't hear you!?" Larry yells at us from his tent. "W-we're not!" Sal yells in defense. "Suuuuure!"

Sally and I get comfy and cuddle in the warmth of our blankets. Sal and I, we're going to last a long time, I can tell already.

Days turn to weeks, then months. Senior year of high school rolls around eventually after fun days of sleepovers, cuddling, and hangouts. I've gotten a lot closer with Ash too, we're best friends by now, despite the drama that happened a while back.

The annoying sound of the alarm awakes me from the blissful sleep I was having. Sal's warmth is comforting on my back, but he too awakes and stirs. I slap the alarm with enough force that my hand is slightly red.

"Let's just stay home." Sally complains. "We have to go, babe." I say and stand. I stretch my back, causing it to crack and pop. Sal doesn't move, just blindly reaches out for me.

"Sal, you look pathetic. Come on, get up." I kneel down and run my fingers through his soft hair. His eyes close again and he leans into my touch.

I stand again and pop my eye into place. I look over to Sally to see if he moved at all. He sat up a bit but he still looks half asleep. "We're gonna be late hurry up." I get my clothes together and walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth, hair, and get dressed.

I stare at my reflection. The normal bags under my eyes seemed to fade a little, and I don't look as depressed as I always did. I smile slightly, it looks normal now, not forced or fake. Because I'm actually happy now. I wake up next to the love of my life thanks to the recent move into Sal's place.

I can now truly say I'm happy.

Happy with the best friends a person could
ask for.
Happy for a loving boyfriend anyone would
be lucky to have.
Happy for the angle who finally snapped me
awake.

Things have gone wrong, and I've had a tough and unfortunate childhood, but I think I turned it around for the better. I just hope it stays this way.

~Eight years later~

A loud cry echoes through the small home. Blue and H/C hair tangled together, both of the people groan. "You get the baby." Sally taps his lover. They shake their head.

"I got them last time." Sal sighs and gets up, leaving Y/N with a small smirk before falling back asleep.

"Shh, shh. It's alright, I gotcha." Sally cradles the small human in his arms. The eight month old smiles and clumsily traces Sal's scars. The baby loved his face, and would smile every time they saw it, an attribute the small baby most likely absorbed from Y/N.

The baby stops crying, and Sally turns around to leave the baby's room before being started by his lovers presence by the door. "I always get up when you do." Y/N says and yawns.

"Let's get to bed." The couple get comfortable back in their warm bed. The couple have been happily married for almost a year. Their anniversary coming up in a few short weeks.

They both decided they wanted to adopt, so they did. And they were rewarded with a small, tan baby. The baby girl's mother put a request for a name, but they were already set on B/N. So the baby's name, after a compromise, is B/N Maria Fisher-L/N.

Y/N and Sal also didn't want the traditional one last name, so they combined the two. All in all, they were a unique family, but they were happy. That's all that truly mattered.

Their awful pasts didn't matter anymore. They were content with their friends, new baby, and each other.

The two fell into a happy slumber in each other's arms. Until the familiar cries started again.

"Dear God, help us."
