"...cheru" My head was spinning. I couldn't focus on anything. It was so dark. "Reicheru...." A voice said to me again, the same voice from my dream last night. "Reicheru..." It repeated again. "What?!" I snapped, the confusion overwhelming me. "Wake up." It replied sternly. "Excuse me?" I yelled, anger rising in me. "Wake up!" It yelled, the voice piercing my ears. I screamed in affect, pain thrusting through my head. I shut my eyes briefly and then reopened them as a tear began to fall. It seemed like the world began to slow down. The droplet falling slowly, Until it finally touched the ground.

My eyes fluttered open and cool air blew softly on my face. My breathing was heavy, but it immediately began to slow down when I saw William standing above me. Yonatan was standing right next to him, his face filled with worry and confusion. "Damnit!" I shouted quickly as I began to sit up. I hesitated for a moment, my head aching. William tilted his head at my responce. "Well, seems she's okay I'm gonna get going." He said as he made his way towards the exit. "Wait!" I yelled. He froze in his tracks and turned around slowly, eyeing me cautiously. On any other occasion, I would be thrilled for him to leave, considering I'm so scared of him, but right now I just want answers... Why did he help me? Does he know about my magic? If he doesn't... Could I trust him? A million thoughts were swirling around in my head, causing my head to pound harder and I groaned. Yonatan spoke up boldly, "I think we deserve some answers." William looked at Yonatan sternly. He sighed but then nodded. "Fair enough..." He mumbled and made his way over back to us. "May I ask something?" He asked, looking around the building. My heart started beating faster. The last thing I wanted him to know was that we were homeless. I really hate being pittied. "Um no I think we need to ask the questions first." I replied, my voice a little muffled. He rolled his eyes, "okay then... Fire away." Anger slowly crept it's way to me.... There was something about this guy I just really didn't like. I took a deep breath to calm myself down. He smirked, his face full of amusement. I really wish he would stop that... His smirk grew even more, "Stop what?" I blew up. "HOW DO YOU ALWAYS KNOW WHAT IM THINKING?" I yelled, my face red with anger. "Because I can read your mind." He replied, his face expressionless. "Look William, I'm not in the mood for you being stupid right now." I said trying to calm myself down. "But I'm serious. I can." He replied, straight faced. "WILL!" I yelled, anger taking control of me again, "yeah and I have sparkly magic that looks like rainbows!" I yelled sarcastically... Kinda. My brother shot me a warning look but I kept my eyes fixed on William's. His smirk began to grow back. "Yeah. I know." My mouth dropped open, I was completely dumbfounded. "I... I was being sarcastic!" I shot back, my eyes full of anger. "Kinda..." He replied, making my heart skip a beat. "No way..." I mumbled. I looked down at the ground, my hair covering my eyes. "So... You know then?" I asked almost in a whisper. He sighed and sat down beside me. He placed his index finger under my chin and lifted my head up. He no longer had that annoying smirk on his face... His eyes full of sympathy, the last thing I wanted, and I swear I could see a tiny, very tiny, genuine smile on his face. He was actually... Really cute.... I immediately shook off the thought. "Yes..." He whispered. "I know everything..." My heart began to ache and my eyes began to water as I thought about mom and dad, and the fact that we are by ourselves living in this total dump with no where to go... No one to take care of us... "Everything?" I asked, barely managing to get the word out. He nodded, his eyes full of pity. "I'm really sorry about your family..." He said softly, not taking his eyes off me. I looked towards my left, trying to avoid looking at his face. "So... I take it you really can read minds." I whispered, choosing to ignore his last statement. He sighed and looked down. "Yeah... " he replied. "I think it's time I finally introduce myself." He said standing back up. Finally... I could sense his eyes burning into me. I think I may be pissing him off... "Yes... Yes you are. Now shut up and listen." He said, his tone obviously annoyed. "I DIDNT SAY ANYTHING!" I shot back. I crossed my arms and turned my attention back to the amazingly boring pale floor. "Anyway! My name is William Yorican." My eyes widened at his words and my heart skipped a beat. "Yeah yeah yeah I know..." He said rolling his eyes. Yorican... Thats the last name of the mind mages... This is really bad... This might be my last day of living...
