The Strange Dream

The bars were cold on my skin. "Hello?" I shouted, my voice echoing throughout the room. "Please! Someone! HELP ME!" I pleaded, a tear threatening to fall. I placed my hands together and closed my eyes, "DIVINE STRENGTH!" I yell. A tiny light appeared around my hands but then quickly faded. "WHAT?!" I yelled? My magic doesnt work... A loud thump ran through the room and the cell I was in began vibrating in effect. My heart began to pound harder. "HELLO?! WHO'S THERE?!" I asked, letting the tear fall down my face. I quickly wipe it away, not wanting to show any weakness. "My dear... Please don't shout." A voice replied, almost in a whisper. My lips began to tremble. "Who... Who are you?" I asked, trying to sound as brave as I can, but my voice cracked and I cringed. So much for that... I thought to myself. "Please... Don't be scared child... I'm only here to warn you." The voice said, louder this time. "Warn me about what?" My face showed no sign of courage. My pale face almost visible. "Child, you are aware aren't you? Your life sweet girl, your life is about to change." The voice replied. " What are you talking about?!" My fear was immediately replaced with curiosity. "I'm afraid I cannot say much any more, my dear. Please, do be careful. It could mean your life." The strange woman said, her voice fading away again. "What is it?!" I yelled at her. There was no respnce. "Tell me!!" I yelled again. A loud screech filled the air. I quickly covered my ears and groaned, the noise piercing my ears. A sharp pain erupted in my chest. I fell to my knees. I glanced at my chest and my heart sank... A knife was pierced in my chest. "Wha.... What?!" I whispered. The door on my cell opened rapidly and a strange, but not that bad looking man, came running to my side. "No!" The man yelled. "Reicheru!!" He yelled again. I couldn't speak. I fell to the ground in a loud thump. The world began to spin. "Reicheru! Reicheru! Rachel!" He continued to yell. My eyes became heavy. The room seemed to be swallowed up by a black whole and before I knew it I have become enveloped in darkness.

My eyes flew open and I sat up gasping for air. "Reicheru!" My brother, Yonatan yelled. My face was covered in sweat. "Rachel... Your okay!" He yelled wrapping his arms around me and pulling me into a hug. My face was pale and my heart wouldn't stop beating. "Wha... What happened?" He asked, letting go of me and looking directly at my face. "It... It must've been a nightmare." I whispered, finally looking at my brother. He stared at me for a moment, his face full of worry. "You... You were screaming and... And... And you were crying... And I was so worried!" He said, his eyes filling with water. I pulled him back into a hug and rested my chin on his head. "I'm okay. Yonatan. I'm okay. I promise." He let go of me and nodded, looking at the floor. "We should go back to sleep." I said as I lied back down. "Okay..." He said, joining me. I looked at him for a while, until I could hear him softly snoring, signaling he was alseep. I smiled at him. For a ten year old, he could be such a cry baby. But he is strong. His magic is so powerful. It's beutiful. My mind quickly went back to the dream. What was that? I thought to myself. Was it really just a dream? I quickly shook off the thought and my eyes became really heavy. I took one more glance at my brother, Dont worry... I promjse... I wont ever leave you alone... I then quickly drifted off into sleep, and with my luck, had a very peaceful night.
