Surprise Announcement - Part 9

Jimin was now 20 weeks along in his pregnancy, exactly half way. Tomorrow was the day that they got to find out the gender of their baby. Right now Jimin and Yoongi's living room was full of all their friends, Jin, Namjoon and their kids, and Hoseok. And their families, who had traveled to see them for the baby shower, including Yoongi's mum, dad and brother, and Jimin's mum.

Jimin's mum had arrived the day before and her and Jimin sat down to talk through everything. She met Yoongi and Jae-hyun and will be staying at their house until after the baby is born, to help them out. Jimin's dad still hasn't spoken to him, but his mum says he is starting to accept the whole situation, he just needs more time.

"So since we're finding out the gender tomorrow, we want everyone to write down on this board what they think it is." Jimin said handing out a white board.

Jin - Girl

Hoseok - Boy

Namjoon - Boy 

Jimin's mum - Girl

Yoongi's mum - Girl

Once everyone had made their predictions, it was time for food and then present opening. The 2 men were gifted a lot for their baby.

When the party was over, the guests began to get ready to leave, until Namjoon and Jin stood up an started talking to the room.

"I know this is Jimin and Yoongi's party for their new baby, and I'm not trying to steal the spotlight." Said Jin.

"But Jin and I have an announcement to make." Smiled Namjoon. 

Jimin looked over to Yoongi with a shocked smile on his face, he could guess what was going on as he noticed a few symptoms with Jin today.

"We're expecting baby number 3." Jin said excitedly.

The whole room jumped up in celebration and congratulated the couple and their children. Jimin was over the moon with the news, he and Jin would be pregnant at the same time.

"How far along are you?" Asked Jimin.

"13 weeks." Replied Jin. He unzipped his oversize jacket that he had used to hide his small bump from everyone. He was already showing quite a lot, which was normal for a third pregnancy.

"You kept it a secret for that long?" Jimin was shocked.

"Yeah, we had some complications during the first 3 weeks, so we wanted to make sure both the baby and I were healthy before we told anyone." Replied Jin.

"What happened?" 

"I had a big bleed about a week after finding out I was pregnant, we though we lost the baby, but luckily the doctors were able to save it." Said Jin. "I'm still worried something bad is going to happen." He said, a tear sliding down his cheek.

"Hey, don't worry it's okay." Reassured Jimin giving him a hug. Luckily the kids had moved to a different room so they didn't see their dad upset.

Namjoon, who was talking to Yoongi and his Brother, looked over to see Jin. He went over to comfort his lover.

"It's been a hard few weeks for him." Namjoon told Jimin. "But everything's going to be okay now."

All the guests had left now, and Jimin's mum was putting Jae-Hyun to bed. Jimin let out a huge yawn.

"It's been a long day for you, huh?" Laughed Yoongi, with both his hands on Jimin's stomach. His favorite thing to do was hold the baby bump.

"Yeah, it's was a great day though. I'm so happy for Jin and Namjoon. I'm just worried about their baby."

"Don't worry, the Doctors are keeping a close eye on them. Namjoon told me that there should be no more complications as long as Jin rests." Yoongi replied.

"I hope everything stays okay for them. I wonder what the gender will be?" Jimin thought out load.

"I wonder what the gender of our baby will be." Laughs Yoongi.

"Oh yeah, I forgot I was pregnant for a second." Jimin giggled.

"How could you forget, with this huge bump?"

"I don't know." Jimin sighed, he was gonna miss his bump when the baby came, but he still had a while to appreciate it until then. "We find out tomorrow, I'm excited."

"Me too, not long now."

Jimin's mum came down stairs then to see the two men snuggled up, Yoongi was spooning Jimin whilst holding his stomach, with his head resting in the crook of the other's neck. She smiled at the sight, and was so happy that her son had found someone to treat him right. She placed a blanket over the two men and left them alone.
