Dream - Part 7

"Will you marry me?"

"I'm pregnant."

"Wait, what?" Yoongi said, shocked at what he had heard. He definitely wasn't expecting that.

Jimin was petrified. He didn't want a repeat of his last experience, especially now that he and Jae had settled with Yoongi. What if it was all ripped away? Jimin took a deep breath.

"I'm pregnant." He whispered, a tear sliding down his face.

"Hey, don't cry Minnie. We're having a baby." Yoongi smiled, looking so excitable.

"Y-you're okay with it?"

"Of course I am! I'm going to be a dad." Yoongi said. "Our family is growing even bigger and I'm so happy."

Jimin sighed in relief. "I'm happy too." The two men went silent for a few minutes, as they soaked in the news.

"Yes." Jimin said, out of the blue.

"Pardon?"

"Yes, I'll marry you."

Yoongi's smile was from ear to ear. He got down onto one knee and pulled out a ring, sliding it onto the younger's finger. They spent the next hour snuggled up at the fountain, noting but love and comfort surrounding them.

"If it's a boy, can we call it Jungwoo?" Yoongi asked.

"Why that name?" Replied Jimin.

"I don't know, I've just always imagined having a son called Jungwoo." Laughed the older.

"Well, we'll keep it as an option. I like that name too."

"Out of all the people in the world, I'm glad you're the one carrying my child Jiminie. Does anyone else know yet?"

"Just you and me. I was thinking of telling Seokjin and Namjoon next week, since I'll be 12 weeks then." Jimin said.

"12 weeks? You kept that quiet for a while."

"I know." Laughed Jimin. "I wanted it to be a surprise for you."

"Well, it's the best surprise I've ever had." Yoongi smiled. "I can't wait to go baby shopping."

"Me too! It's going to be so fun."

One week after their anniversary, Jimin and Yoongi invited the Kim family over to tell them the news however, before they did that, they had to tell the most important person, Jae-Hyun.

"Jae-hyun, I need to tell you something." Jimin said, sitting down next to the little one.

"Yes Dada?"

"Do you remember that you used to be a little baby inside of Dada's tummy?" Jimin asked, trying to simplify it as much as he could.

"Y-yeah, I was a wittle baby, but now I'm a big boy!" Laughed Jae-hyun.

"That's right, you are a big boy now." Laughed Jimin. "Well, I wanted to tell you that Dada has got another baby in his tummy."

"Like, wight now?" 

"Yes, do you wanna feel?"

"Okay Dada." Jimin directed Jae's hands onto his tummy. There was no bump there yet, but he could tell that Jae understood. "Hello?" Asked Jae, talking to the tummy. Jimin laughed.

"That's your little brother or sister in there. That mean's you're going to be a big brother." Said Jimin.

"Yeah, big brother cause I'm the biggest!" Jae-hyun replied. He loved being the biggest, just like his favorite dinosaur.

Today Jimin and Yoongi had the 12 week scan, they had told the Kim family the news, the night before and Jin was very excited.

"Hello Mr Park and Mr Min, I'm Doctor Lee and I'm going to be checking the health of your baby today." Smiled the doctor.

Jimin lay down on the bed and lifted up his shirt, ready for the Doctor to put the gel on.

"Okay, so if you look at the screen you can see a little head right there and the body. That's your baby."

"It's so tiny." Said Yoongi.

"It's is. Would you like to hear the heartbeat?" The doctor asked.

"Yes please." Whispered Jimin, he was so overwhelmed with happiness.

The heartbeat then pounded throughout the who room, and both parents started crying. The ultrasound ended, and the doctor reassured them both that the baby was healthy. They got some pictures printed, then headed home.

That night Jimin decided to do something, that had taken over 2 years to prepare for.

He called his mum.
