My Ethnic Princess

Princess Tyanna (Tata) Part 5

"I am so sick and tired of everyone always in my business. Who do they think they are? I know that they are family but this is my life. I am so sick of this."

As I leave the table I decided to get dress and go find Ebony.

When I walk up to Ebony's house she is outside with her mother working in the garden.

I walked up to the garden and they both kneel, "Good morning you're Highness."

I smile, "Good morning. May I please have a word with Ebony?"

Ebony's mother nods and we walk off.

"So what happen to you last night Tata"

"Well for some reason mom took forever to get to my room to tell me good night. I see you left without me."

"I told you that we would leave you. There was no way we could wait any longer than we did. What did you end up doing last night?"

"After I realize that you all left me I decided to get on one of the older horses and ride off to the Kingdom to the North hoping to catch up with you. But when I got to the pub the big hairy guy wouldn't let me in. He said that I needed papers. Then I realize that you had them."

"My bad! I didn't real that you would try to come after we had already left."

"Did you honestly think that I was going to be trapped in that castle all night? Girl please, you know me better than that. So how was the pub?"

"Ridiculous! We had so much fun. We danced and sang. It was better than any other Kingdom was had visited. I even asked around about Prince Nathan. One of the girls at the pub was upset that I was asking about him. She acts like he was her man or something. I started to laugh, because even if he is her man he won't be hers for long."

"Girls she can have him. I hope she does, so I don't have to marry him. Anyway while I was in that Kingdom I met a fine young man who is a stable boy for that Kingdom. Oh my gosh, he was the best looking man I have ever seen. He was tall, dark, muscular, and his smile is something special. At first he was getting on my nerve. I thought maybe he was a stalker, but then I talk to him and we seem to hit it off. I have never connected with anyone on that level."

"Tata sounds like you have it bad!" Ebony said laughing.

"I just met the man, but who knows. I think I might go see him tonight."

Ebony turned her head sideways, "How are you going to manage to pull this off? You know your sister is like a hawk. Nothing can get pass her."

"Remember tonight is Saturday. Mom and Kayla meet with the Royal Council. This is the only night that mom does not check on us, and their meetings always run extremely late. So I have all the time in the world."

Ebony reaches over to me and hugs me, "I hope your right, because if you get caught you can get that poor boy killed. So he knows you're a princess?"

"Are you crazy? He thinks I'm a maid in the castle name Ira"

We both laugh and Ebony said, "What would you know about being a maid?"

"I feel like I am a made sometimes. Mom makes me clean my own room. And sometimes I help in the Kitchen."

Ebony continues to laugh, "And that makes you feel like a maid? Tata I don't think you know how easy you have it."

We both laugh and I told her, "I might need you help one day."

"Anything you need. I'm always there for you." Ebony said as we hook arms and walked through the meadow.

Later that night, as the sun was going down, I decided that I was going back to the Kingdom to the North to look for Man-Man. We had so much fun that I decided to try and spend as much time with him as possible. I went right back to the same spot where we had last seen each other and to my surprise he was not there. As I waited hoping that he would show up, I noticed a dark chocolate girl with long braids peeking from behind a tree.

I looked closely and yelled, "Amari!"

Amari came from behind the tree and asked, "What gave me away? I thought I was being discreet."

I looked at her shaking her head, "Why would you follow me? I noticed you because you're very loud, not to mention you took your royal horse. Not everyone has a horse as gorgeous as yours."

Amari looked at me and said, "I just wanted to know what all of the fuss was about. Why should you have all of the fun?"

I just wanted to see Man-Man again and I really didn't care who was around. I turned to Amari and told her, "If you see a tall, dark, and fine young man walk up and call me Ira, just go along with everything. He does not know my real name and I would like to keep it that way."

Amari looked at me, "So why are you calling yourself Ira and why are you hiding your identity?"

I turned away from Amari as if ashamed, "He is just a stable boy and he thinks that I am a maid in the castle. So do not blow my cover! Please, I beg of you, I need you to pretend that I am a maid."

Amari had a confused look, "So who am I? Oh, could I be a maid too? I want to pretend to be someone else. That seems like fun. It would be nice to see how others are treated."

I agreed.

Just as we had agreed on what we were going to say, Man-Man walked up with a huge smile on his face saying, "I was hoping that you would show up. I have been thinking about you all day. You are a very interesting person Ira. Who is this with you?"

I gave a huge grin and said, "This is another maid in the castle, she was bored so I told her that I was going for a ride and she decided to join."

Man-Man looked confused, "So they just let anyone ride the royal horses in your Kingdom? The King would have a fit and Prince Nathan would not let just anyone ride his pride and joy."

Amari cocked her head to the side, raised her left eye brow, and said, "The royals in the Kingdom do not mind if their loyal subjects ride their horses as long as they ask."

Man-Man looked Amari right in her eyes saying, "I'm sorry I did not get your name."

Amari stated, "That is because I did not give it."

I laughed while elbowing her sister, "Her name is Kim. She is always following me like I am her big sister or something."
