For I am finding out that love will kill and save me
Taking the dreams that made me up
And tearing them away
But the same love will take this heart that's barely beating
And fill it with hope beyond the stars---
He was wondering how he made her feel, if she was enjoying herself or if she was just silently waiting for this to be over with.
Judging by her lips against his bare shoulder. Her hands wrapped around his body, and his name coming from her lips like a prayer. She was enjoying herself.
It was more than he could take.
Paul slept with a lot of women, including Jane, but nothing felt like this. Nothing made him feel so euphoric. Natalie's arms embracing him tightly, her slender hands feathering through his hair, her lips against his chest and stomach.
Skin to skin.
It was electric. Every time she felt his chest touch hers, with every movement he made as he moved against her, was almost too much. She closed her eyes, keeping a tight grip on him. Her legs remained wrapped around his waist as he made love to her.
She didn't even remember how they managed to undress. It was all like a dream now. She had sobered up a bit, thankfully, and was able to focus more on him and what they were doing.
"Natalie," She heard him murmur against her neck, his breath warm against her skin. His moans were muffled as he buried his face against her and her grip on him tightened. She tugged on his chin, wanting him to lift his head from the crook of her neck. He obeyed her command, his eyes meeting hers. His hair was damp, his bangs clinging to his skin. His body was hot against hers, and every time their bodies touched, she could feel the damp stickiness of their sweat clinging to their skin.
She tugged his chin down, bringing his lips to her own. Their kiss was languid, their movements lazy. Their energy was going into their bodies as they both strived to give each other pleasure. He felt good, and she wanted to tell him that.
The words wouldn't come out, and her mind grew hazy, and her lips broke from him, instead, their foreheads touched, and their eyes remained closed as they grew closer and closer to achieving their goal.
"Paul—Paul please!" She begged him, whimpering beneath him. He hooked his hand beneath her knee, giving him a better grip as he moved harder against her.
He was pleased when she cried out, and it was only moments later he cursed beneath his breath, joining her in ecstasy.
He relaxed against her. Her face was buried in his shoulder, and he smiled, feeling her body shake against his. He didn't know if she was crying, and if she was, he didn't mind. He placed his lips against her neck and moved to murmur in her ear.
"Alright, luv?" He asked, and she didn't respond. That was okay, he didn't need her to respond, her reaction was more than enough. She gripped his face and moved her head up to kiss him again. Their kiss was slow and gentle, both of them exhausted. Her eyes closed and she let out a content sigh.
"Tired?" He asked, and she nodded. He moved off of her and settled beside her. He pulled her body against his and buried his nose in her hair and closed his eyes as well. Her soul felt at ease for once. She felt a kiss to the back of her neck right before she drifted into a blissful darkness.
---
The night before was the first thing that came to mind when she woke. The second was the bright sun that threatened to give her a headache.
