Poseidon's POV
OlympusI sat boredly, not paying attention to conversation around me in Zeus' monthly council meeting. They were unnecessary and most of the time, not everyone showed up. I was required to show up since I was Zeus' favorite sister to some nonsense like that. Hades never left the underworld anyways, but between you and I, she was better than my brother.
I glanced around the room to see who wasn't here. Demeter, occupied growing things. Athena, mourning the death of her lover that we didn't even know she had. Aphrodite, probably getting fucked somewhere. Six of the nine were here; me, Zeus, Apollo, Hephaestus, Hera, and Hermes.
I wasn't even entirely sure what they were discussing before I was shaken from my thoughts.
"Poseidon?" Someone asked.
"What?" I snapped.
"Your thoughts on what we should do." Zeus was speaking to me.
"With what?"
" The girl... " Zeus trailed off looking amused that I was making a fool of myself.
"We should set her on fire." Hephaestus cut in with a wild look in her eyes.
"Would you shut it you fucking maniac?" Hera snapped at Hephaestus.
" The girl... that sunk the ships... in your ocean. " Hermes now spoke to me, filling me in on what was happening.
"Oh. I'll allow her to breath underwater so she can come to Atlantis and work as my servant until I decide otherwise." I quickly decided.
"What happened to Kostis?" Kostis was my old servant.
"He had no work ethic so I fed him to the sharks."
The others looked at each other, besides Zeus. He bellowed with laughter because he liked doing things that were similar. All the while I kept the blank look on my face.
Zeus snapped and a girl appeared in front of us. She had blonde hair and blue eyes. She didn't look Greek, I wondered if she was from somewhere else. She stood, her wrists wrapped in chains to keep her restrained, and looked up at all of us. She eyes each of us individually before snorting a sound of disapproval.
"A decision has been made. Poseidon has decided that you will travel to Atlantis with her and work as her servant until further notice."
She looked at me and the corner of her mouth curled into a smirk. It almost felt like a threat and my brow furrowed in annoyance. I had no time for Zeus or his mortals that he didn't know what to do with.
I stood and walked down the steps and passed the girl. My fingers snapped and we were now walking towards the doors of Atlantis. Her jaw hung open and it was my turn to smirk at her.
"What's your name." I asked her.
"Asta." She said in an accent I didn't recognize .
"And where are you from, Asta?"
"Iceland." We continued walking.
I scoffed and raised an eyebrow. "I'm supposed to believe that?"
"Why wouldn't you?" She asked me.
"Hush. I'm asking the questions."
We reached the doors and they were pushed open by two guards. We entered the great hall and walked to the side and into a smaller hall that led into the palace. Atlantis was surrounded by water but I didn't feel like having a fish tail for most of my life, so I surrounded it in an air bubble. Nobody here has tails and fins like everyone thinks.
