Elysium
Persephone's POV"I swear by my cursed father she fell out of the sky!" I shouted at Hecate from the washroom.
"Are you absolutely sure you aren't just finally losing your mind. You know this place can do things like that." She came around the corner and handed me a fresh himation dyed white, my favorite color.
"Yes." I stood up and stepped out of the bathtub. Nudity was a common thing in the immortal realm and nobody minded it. "Did you not see her?"
"Of course I did but those scratches can be caused by a few things. Like just tripping and falling or maybe she's a warrior and found herself in a fight." Hecate turned away to walk out of the steamy room. She had been my right hand woman as long as I've been Elysium and I trusted her but I knew I wasn't crazy. Not yet at least.
I saw the girl fall from somewhere when I was walking through the courtyard outside of my palace early in the morning. I often took those walks as I had trouble sleeping. Running a realm can do that to a person.
I remember walking up to her and she was laying on her back. She was pretty if you could look past the gash on her cheek and the cut above her brow. I called to one of my guards and had him carry her to a spare bedroom in my palace. I left her after that and now I'm here, trying to wash away my old problems and get ready for the new ones, probably involving the unnamed woman in the room down the hall from mine.

I had finished dressing and Hecate had stepped out to start her work for the day when I was interrupted by pounding on my door. I was busy making myself look perfect as a goddess and ruler of a realm must do.
"What?" I yelled towards the large mahogany door as if it were a person.
"She's awake!" One of my servants yelled from the other side.
I stood up quickly. Perfection can wait, my curiosity overtook me. I opened the door and nearly shoved the servant out of the way. I meant nothing by it but I needed to see her.
When I reached the door to the occupied room I had to compose myself. The flowers that grew up the stone walls were all opened and facing me as if they had as much anticipation as I did. I slowly opened the door and stepped into the room.
She was still laying in the bed with her hands over her face. "I already told you, I didn't mean to end up here." She groaned out as she grabbed her eyes before removing her hands. She looked as if she about to say something else when she met my eyes and she froze.
She looked intimidated as I moved towards her. "I see you've finally woken up." I smiled down at her. "Did you enjoy your rest?"
She quickly looked me up and down, probably sizing me up for theater she should trust her words or not. "How long have I been here?"
"Less than a day."
She tried sitting up with a quiet grunt and a pained look on her face. I tested my hand on her back to help support her and grabbed the water on the bedside table for her. I sat next to her and she looked at me out of the corner of her eye.
"Do you have a name?"
"Can I trust you. You are a deity."
"Depends if you're just visiting or here to kill me. You obviously aren't dead."
"Eris." She looked at me fully now. "You don't look like how the mortals describe you."
