It seems that people in general think that spy's are cool.
I'll admit it, I did. That is, until I became one. Don't get me wrong, I like being a spy, it just wasn't what I was expecting. People think it's all about cool glasses, being undercover, and awesome gadgets. They think it's all fun and games. But it's not. I'll be honest, being a spy is hard. Especially when you're in our agency.
We're the AHDL, or Advanced Human Detention League. Not the best name, but there's a reason for it. There are people with what we call Advanced Abilities, or AA. Basically, they have superpowers. Don't believe me? Well then, don't. It's not like we need more people knowing about it. Anyway, people are getting powers, but we don't know why, and we usually don't know how. Our job is to find them, and detain them if their evil, or recruit them if their good. So that should explain the name, more or less.
I'm working on a mission now that shouldn't be too hard, just another AA. The possibility of him being good is high, and so the main trick is finding him. Of course there's always a twist, and this time it's Carroll. She's newer to the agency and I've been assigned to train her. This will be her first field mission. I think she's well prepared for it, I just don't know how well she'll react if something bad happens.
So far all has gone well, we've found a house that the target used to live in, and have executed a plan to get the person who's currently living there out. His name is Timmy. We convinced him to go on vacation for the next month so we can search the place for any clues. He should be leaving tomorrow, so we can start then.
