Making New Friends

Today is the day I make a new friend, at least I hope that it will be the day. I decided not to wake up Shiny and go out alone, so I went out and looked around Ponyville. As I was walking past Sugar Cube Corner, I looked over at one of the tables to see a pony I've never seen in Ponyville before.

I could tell by her eyes and horn that she was half changeling, but the rest of her looks all pony. I was surprised to see a changeling here in Ponyville undisguised and not feeding off love from anypony. I walked over to her and introduced myself, "Hey i'm Moon Shadow, I'm new here in Ponyville and I noticed that you are part changeling, to be honest I've never met a half changeling before."

She looked over at me in amazement, "You.. you're not afraid of me? Or wanting to run away?" I shook my head in reply. "Hey half the stuff I've seen throughout my life wasn't normal, so needless to say I'm pretty use to it by now," she smiles and me and holds her hoof out for me to shake "I'm Ashes, cool to meet you."

I smile and shake her hoof too, for a while we just sit there and talk about our interests in certain things. I start getting ready to head home but I hear Ash stop me, "Wait!" I turn back to her and raise a brow, she catches up to me "Does that mean we're friends now?" I smiled and nodded my head, I can't wait to tell Shiny!
