Gil, Harry and uma spent the afternoon unpacking their belongings. It was now 6:00pm and they each got ready for dinner.
Evie's pov The afternoon went by pretty smoothly. Mal had finally forgiven Ben and the two were happy again.
I sat in dorm sewing some more dresses I had to finish before I decided to get ready for dinner. I had finally built up the courage to ask chad if he wanted to hang out sometime. I changed into this outfit⬇️⬇️

And waited for Mal.
"Can you hurry up!" I yelled at Mal who was putting on her shoes
"Okay okay I'm ready." Mal said as she looked at herself one last time before leaving the dorm.
We walked to the Carlos and jays dorm. The four of us always walked together.
We had finally gotten to the cafeteria where everyone was enjoying everyone's company. We got our dinner and sat at our usual table. While jay Carlos and Mal talked I couldn't help but stare at chad who was sitting just two tables down with all his tourney friends.
"Might wanna close your mouth before you start drooling." Jay said making the group laugh.
"Oh shut up." I say as I looked down at my hands.
I had told myself I was gonna ask him out but now I was having second thoughts. My hands began to sweat just thinking about it.
After about 5 minutes the new vk kids walk into the cafeteria. Silence filled the room.
"What's the matter cat got your tongue." Uma said as she looked at everyone in the room.
Everyone began to begin talking again as if nothing had happen.
"I'll be back." I said to the group. I was gonna ask chad out. I start making my way towards his table. My hands begin to shake.
"hey chad." I manage to say without stuttering.
"What is it?" Chad said as he looked at his friends.
"Well... um I was wondering if you maybe wanted to hang out sometime?" I say nervously.
"Are you kidding!? Me go out with you in your dreams. Sorry princess." Chad said as he laughed with his friends.
"Maybe next time." I hear a voice behind me say with a chuckle. I turn around to see Harry walking towards uma and Gil.
I can't help but let a tear drop from my left eye. I walk back to table and sit down.
"Evie what happened?" Mal asked.
"Nothing I just lost my favorite lipstick." I lie.
"Hey no need to get so worked up about it. I'll get you a new one." Carlos said trying to comfort me.
They always looked out for me. After all I was their princess. People considered me the weak one in the group. Jay Mal and Carlos always defended me from bullies back at on the isle. Sometimes I wanted to scream and curse at the bullies but nothing would come out.
"Thanks Carlos." I say as I give him a smile.
Getting rejected by chad felt like someone had punched me in the stomach. Like a bad dream that I couldn't get out of. Harry didn't help with his mean response either. He made me feel worst actually.
Dinner was finally over and everyone was walking back to their dorms.
"What are you doing tomorrow?" Evie asked as her and Mal walked towards their dorm.
"Ben's parents invited me to spend the day with them at jasmine's and Aladdin's palace." Mal said as she turned the door knob to the dorm.
No one's pov "Ohh." Evie said hoping she would spend the day with her best friend.
"Why?" Mal questioned as she took off her earrings.
"Oh nothing just wondering." Evie answered as she took off her heels.
"Well I'm gonna go to sleep. Ben wants us to be up at 7:00am." Mal said as she payed down on her bed.
"Goodnight then." Evie said before Mal closed her eyes.
Evie changed into some Comfy clothes before getting in bed. She laid in bed for about an hour and a half before deciding that she couldn't sleep. She got up from her bed and looked out the window. She saw the stars and how they lit up the sky. She couldn't help but think about what chad didn't like about her. She felt horrible after he rejected her so fast. She was perfect. Evie let out a sigh before letting teardrops roll down her rosy cheeks. "Cmon now Evie princess' don't cry!"
