Taeyeon's POV:
It had been a week since I found out and told the other guys I was going to have a little girl. They were as ecstatic as Yoongi was when we found out in the office. Tae went out and bought me a baby book the following day so I could keep memories of this journey. The ultrasounds pictures I'd gotten since the first appointment were put in first, ending with the one that showed I was having a girl.
In that week, Jimin had been acting weirder than normal around me and he'd been keeping an eye on me and Yoongi when we were talking. I didn't know what was going with that, but I hadn't understood Oppa much in months. It was just weird that he'd basically been lurking around every corner.
"Taeyeon?" Yoongi said to me, pulling me out of my thoughts.
I looked at him, focusing again.
"Huh?" I said. "Mianhae. What did you say?"
He laughed at me.
"I asked if you wanted to go out and get dinner with me? You know, somewhere where we can actually hear ourselves think?" Yoongi asked.
"Sure. That sounds nice, Yoongi. Gomawo," I replied. "But I need to change."
I got up and went to my room to get dressed. I was still wearing casual clothes, but they were cleaner than what I had been wearing. When I came back out, it looked like Jimin and Yoongi were having a heated discussion.
"What are you up to, Yoongi?" Jimin demanded.
"We're just going to eat where we can think straight, Park Jimin," Yoongi answered casually.
"Yoongi? Is anything wrong?" I asked.
"Not a thing, Taeyeon," he said, smiling at me, and walking away from Oppa.
We walked out of the house together. I hadn't realized I forgot my cell phone in my bedroom. As I usually did, I fell asleep in the car, but Yoongi never seemed to get upset about that. He really was my best friend. At the restaurant, he woke me up before we went inside and were seated. Not long after we were seated, Yoongi looked at me, worried.
"Taeyeon, did you turn your phone off?" he asked me.
"No," I said. "Why?"
I started looking in my bag for my phone.
"Namjoon texted me that Jimin is throwing a fit that you won't answer his texts," Yoongi replied.
I realized I didn't have my phone.
"I think I left it in my bedroom, Yoongi. It's not in my bag and I don't have pockets," I told him.
Yoongi smiled before calling Namjoon.
"Calm down, Namjoon," he started as soon as the line was answered. "Taeyeon doesn't have her phone with her. Check her bedroom. She's pretty sure she forgot it there."
Yoongi was quiet for a few minutes.
"See? Now tell Jimin to calm down because she's not ignoring him, she just didn't get any of his messages," Yoongi told Joonie. "We're about to order, so it'll still be a bit before we get back."
A minute later, Yoongi hung up and we ordered. After the waiter left, Yoongi looked at me.
"Did you really forget it by accident?" he asked.
His question made me laugh.
"Yeah, I did," I replied, laughing.
"Taeyeon, you know I would do anything for you, right?" he asked me and I nodded. "So... will you marry me, Park Taeyeon?"
