Nikko headed straight for Shibuya. He turned right to enter the main road."Is there anything in particular you'd like to eat?" asked Nikko.
"Nothing really, anything as normal as soba or sushi would work." said Ayumi.
"Alright." said Nikko.
Nikko continued driving on the main road. The sun that was shining against the buildings was setting, and the lights of Tokyo started to illuminate. The ride to the restaurant was quiet for about 5 minutes until Nikko decided to break the silence.
"So." said Nikko.
"Hm?" asked Ayumi.
"Why did you move to Tokyo?" asked Nikko. "Nagoya's a nice place too."
"You know, I like how things in Tokyo are." said Ayumi. "Plus, my dad got another job, so we moved here because of that."
"Oh?" said Nikko as he shifted into 2nd gear. "What does he do?"
"He's just a businessman, but he's really into cars." said Ayumi. "Probably how I got into cars too...He goes to Suzuka Circuit a lot."
"Suzuka Circuit?" questioned Nikko. "That's a great track to drive."
"Mhm." said Ayumi.
"So, what do you use to travel around Tokyo?" asked Nikko. "Bus...bike...train?"
"None of those, actually." said Ayumi. "My dad gave me his car, I think it's called...a Supra?"
"A Supra?!" exclaimed Nikko.
"Yeah." said Ayumi. "Something wrong? Is it not a good car?"
"Are you kidding?" asked Nikko. "That's seen as counterpart of the R34."
"I never knew that actually." said Ayumi. "I liked cars just recently."
"It's okay." smiled Nikko. "Oh, here's the place."
It was the usual noodle shop that Nikko goes to after school. Judging from what they saw inside the windows, it seemed busier than usual, but Nikko decided to go. He walked up to the door to open it for Ayumi. The two were greeted by the loud welcoming cheers of the workers.
"Irrashaimase!!"
Nikko and Ayumi walked over to the kiosk to order what they wanted to eat. After they ordered, they went over to find themselves a table.
"...Is racing fun?" asked Ayumi.
Nikko wasn't paying attention. He was zoning out looking the other direction, with his elbows on the table and his arms folded.
"Hm?" asked Nikko.
"Racing, it looks like a lot of fun." said Ayumi.
Nikko thought over in his mind to not encourage Ayumi. Even though he just met her, he didn't want anything bad to happen to her.
"Eh, it's okay." Said Nikko. "It's pretty dangerous though."
"That's okay with me." said Ayumi "Life is full of dangers and wonders."
"You sure?" asked Nikko. "You won't get scared?"
"Ha, why would I get scared?" smiled Ayumi. "It's something new, I really want to try it."
"I guess so, it's just some people who say this get really excited the first time, but then when they get behind the wheel, they chicken out." said Nikko.
"I promise you, I won't be scared." said Ayumi.
"Okay then, tonight then?" asked Nikko.
"Tonight?!" smiled Ayumi. Ayumi's eyes lit up with a sparkle.
